    Dear Sirs,

Thank you very much for your prompt replies to my letter notifying you of my financial difficulties.
I really appreciate your understanding and the options you have offered me to pay you what I owe.

Of the two options you have offered me. I would like to ask that we start Option 2 ~ Longer term payment. I realise that this will put a default notice on my account., but to be honest it is the least of my worries for now, and I would just like to get everything back on track.

I am enclosing for you, as requested, copies of banks statements, wages slips and benefits received and an updated financial statement.
Very proud of trying to deal with my debts. LBM 04/09

Please tell me to shut the hell UP.. if me posting these on here is annoying.

But honestly.. its only trying to give other people ideas and encouragement.
I know HOW much reading stuff like this helps me when I was/am confused.

anyway - have a q for my fellow dmpers.....

have still to send off paperwork to cccs & on my dmp was 30k of hsbc debt which has now been taken over by a mla (you all know i work for hsbc & had to do mla for thier debt otherwise could have been facing disciplinary)

wil cccs take off the hsbc debt & deal with the reamaining creditors?? - still have £320 to offer between 6 and i think its doable.

i know i'll have to phone them - but am dealing with one 'debt' thing a day! honestly - - have a list of debt 'jobs' to deal with & am ticking them off as i go along - makes me feel better anyway!:D

    thanks

    sas

    Any thoughts please???????!!!!!!!!!

Sorry no idea :o - think you really do need to phone them or email them to ask. I know with CCJ's they take it off and allow it into your budget for you to pay yourself though.

No chance!! It's fantastic that we can all come on here together and share notes and pinch ideas ;) off eachother, this site inspired me to arrange a DMP and I am sure it will for many, many other people. You always post helpful ideas and with a hint of humour always makes a really nice read. wahooooo to Eupho :rotfl:

Haven't dealt with them ( doing my own DMP ) I would imagine they will remove HSBC and almost treat it as a secured loan, which it is I guess because it's secured on your job. If they can't help then arrange your own DMP, but they certainly will take your payment to HSBC in to account thus allowing the remaining surplus to be spread between the rest of your creditors. x

    Phewwy! thanks Sas xx

I know it helps me sooo much to read similar things to mine. .. and if I hadn't read soo much from all the lovely people here (and got heaps of encouragement) I wouldn't have tried to do the DMP myself either.

1 month ago a I (really!) was a jibbering terrified wreck, of where to start and what to do. But thanks to all the fabby MSErs I can see now what the path is like. I know what not to be scared of .. and how to handle things that maybe a little more serious.
and I can HONESTLY say.. that I am absolutely NOT scared of it all anymore.
    :T xxx

Oh I meant to say .. one of my clients just gave me a nice bottle of wine.. (YAY!) .. so I am going to be doing the garden/wine thing too! Whoop!
