Is there somewhere on-line I can write and save my SOA?
I have it all on paper pad at home so far. I'll like to be able to see it all on-line if poss?
is this any good? not sure if this is what you mean or for that matter if you can save it online but i know you can do it electronically and save it on your computer.

not sure about the change over time but I would think stopping them as soon as possible is best if it's not too late. think it's too late to change your next pay so you might want to take out the extra as soon as it goes in and leave in what's needed for essential bills. not very good on advice for this part tho as i don't think i did it right myself! (hadn't found this place at that point for advice!)
also pp will do their own SOA as they have different rules than what you might have used! when it's done tho it will be put on your internet thing that they set up for you for you to easily see and change!DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 261Debt at start of DMP (Jan 2009) = 46,147.86 Now = 36,826.98DFD = [STRIKE]Jan 2014[/STRIKE] May 2013 ([strike]60[/strike] [STRIKE]52[/STRIKE] 41 payments to go)NSD:Nov 12/12:jDec 9/10 Jan 5/10Slowly but surely:coffee:0 -

I haven't been offered a DMP or any further help by CCCS as I have more going out than I have coming in at the moment. So I am on my own from here.
£1.50 charge for Postal Orders? Are you meaning that would cost an extra £6 to pay 4 £1 tickets, or £1.50 for all 4 x £1 tickets?
Thanks for replies so far
Are you going it alone? then you need to take ALL creditors into account. If you only do it for the cards they might kick up a fuss as your loans etc.. are being treated preferentially. They will see this if they look on your credit file.
It's 50p for each £1 order so 4x1.50 is £6 for 4
Lump all your creditors together and sort out pro-rata payments, meanwhile whilst you are doing this send token payments.DMP member 265

HAPPY DMP to everyone who has started today!!
We've started ours today and I've just started to call round all the creditors to make sure everything's on the system and I was DREADING it, but my first call was Virgin (MBNA) and without any hassle, it's all set up, no charges, no interest and wished us well!!
Next and Halifax on the other hand........ but hey, I'm happy.
Hope everyone else is doing well?0 -

), I hope by the end of our ppi reclaims we will knock a few more years off and look forward to being fully debt free in 10 years if we continue to pay the same DMP payment. Hopefully if OH work picks up we will be able to pay a bit more reducing the years even more.
I hate the fact that our debt free date it is that long away too BUT we have to stay positive and keep asking ourselves what our debt free date would be prior to the DMP? for instance OH was paying £300 to MBNA every month and was only paying off £1  yep one whole quid was coming off his bill due to excessive interest, ppi and extra charges on the account. Now we pay £300 on our DMP and it is making a difference to the debt whether a creditor gets £5 a month or £50, it IS coming off our total debt.
Our debt free date might be ages away yet but we no longer worry so much over debt, well ok the creditor letters might annoy us but we don't have to hide the bills in the drawer hoping somehow there would be a miracle payment in the bank to pay them
5, 10 ,15 years, it doesn't matter when you look back at how you were living or should I say trying to live every month, living hand to mouth just to pay cards and loans that just got on top, lying to yourself that you didn't have a problem with money and the credit you had simply got out of hand.
Anyway it's not all bad if we didn't spend all that money we wouldn't have met on here. Not just anyone can come on here and join our secret club you know:rotfl:
Joking aside I would rather have 10 years of debt on a DMP than go back to how things were
Just how i have felt about the whole credit thing. You keep thinking about the bill arriving, how can it be paid...... it can't........ yet when you find the inner strength to sort all of the creditors out, you do eventually worry less about debt, you become more positive, balances reduce, letters stll p**s you off, but you are winning.
Thanks for this positive, honest post. I CAN RELATE TO EVERY WORD OF THIS YOU HAVE WRITTEN!!
Take care, good luck.....0 -
hi i wondered if someone could help with a question i have, i am with CCCS everything is running ok at present but i want to do the DMP myself , (long story but i would prefer to do a self DMP) will creditors know that im not with CCCS or just as long as they have money going into my counts does it not matter whether the money is coming directly from me or CCCS .?i will pay my creditors the same amount of money that i was paying them with CCCS. I just wondered if anyone had encounted any problems when going it alone .0

Hi Susieanne, I know I prefer to have the CCCS dealing with my creditors as I feel it looks more like I'm "serious" then. They don't charge anything either to help, and they've been very good with my husband's CCCS plan to date. Is there any reason you don't want to use them? Just curious! Sorry I cannot answer the original question, I'm not sure, not heard of anyone going alone.0

Good morning,
I was wondering what folks dealings with Vanquis are in terms of charges / interest when you've entered into a DMP arrangement. I received a nice statement this morning and they have lumped over 120 quid onto the balance.....
Is this typical?
cheers......enjoy the sun :beer:DMP # 280
