Thanks Cocker,
You don't happen to know where I can get a copy of that particular letter do you? I think I may send a copy of it with my April token payments along with my notification of dmp from cccs.
My old work dept has had a couple of calls for me and I think it may be RBS as am sure none of my other creditors have my work no. I don't think its been too frequent and I don't think these callers can identify what they are calling about (can they?). I can't check online what RBS have as my contact numbers as they dont have online cc services and I don't want to call them so a 'stop calling' letter would be ideal!!!!
I've found one in the following thread in post number 7.
Amend it to suit your needs.

Ah well at least 1 have came on board.
MBNA don't seem to accept DMPs do they - I seem to have read this on here loads of times! Nooo I have a loan and card with them!!! Does anyone have a good experience with them?DMP with PayplanDMP Support number 287Trying to lose lbs and save £££s!0 -
I have just checked my credit report and my creditors show as below
Egg CC - Default
MBNA CC - DMP
Capital One CC - Arrangement
Lloyds Loan - Arrangement
but my Lloyds CC is not mentioned anywhere.
Egg & Capital One are not charging interest, MBNA have reduced interest to 3.5% but Lloyds are still charging interest one both CC & loan.
I have just sent SAR to all 4 creditors and was wondering what they are likely to do if I try to claim charges on these accounts ?0 -
Why do your creditors call after receiving the token payment and notification of a DMP - are they trying to get you to change your mind/pay more money this month??
It's frustrating isn't it but I think they initially will try anything to try and get more money out of us before the dmp gets going. I suppose for them, if they put the pressure on enough, they get some more money.
Problem is, they can't have what I don't have.
I do imagine some of the calls are just an enquiry about the situation; a lot of these companies seem to be made up of multiple departments that don't communicate with each other so even if one dept knows the situation, another may still call................Proud to be dealing with my debts

MBNA wouldn't accept my DMP and kept trying to get me to scrap it altogether and enter into a repayment program with them. I told them where to go!
They then sold my debt onto a DCA called Equidebt. They accepted my DMP straight away and all interest was stopped.

They base payments on who requests the highest repayment amount each month. I have 1 creditor who is £2000 outstanding and they are getting £35 a month whereas one of our other creditors is getting £20 for £15000 outstanding. The first creditor requested £1000 to be repaid in the last month, where as the 2nd creditors minimum payment request last month was at just under £20.
Hope that makes sense.0 -

Nothing basically is the short answer.
Its just a waiting game to see who accepts and rejects. CCCS generally send a letter out when a creditor rejects the offer, the creditor generally sends you a letter when they accept.
My post on the previous page gives details of where we are with our 17 creditors - CCCS have made offers to them all, some have acccepted, some rejected and some havent responded at all, and of those that havent responded some have stopped interest:D ......so it really is just a waiting game now, our first CCCS payment goes out April 1st but i dont anticipate that will change anything, may speed up responses from some but i doubt it. As for the phone calls i found that once CCCS had started to make offers and confirm their involvement they reduced dramatically and as i refused to confirm DPA and just gave my CCCS ref to the others they soon stopped aswell.
Good luck, you're back in control even though it might not seem like that right now xxxDMP Support Member 254. LBM 20/1/2009DMP though CCCS starting 01.04.2009Debt Free date March 2015 but would love to be there for OH's 40th in 2014.0
