All three of my HBOS accounts (2 CCs & a loan) have been passed to Blair Oliver Scott (BOS), typical of HBOS they didn't pass on the fact that we were on a DMP. So BOS phoned us demanding full payment. However once I phoned them and explained everything i.e payment amounts and CCCS ref they were happy. They also said that they woulf be open to F&F offers when we have the means to do so and we can spread it over three months. So by all accounts they seem ok at the moment.
Great news they are open to FnF offers, I wish our creditors would be too.
I have just spoken to Mercers on Behalf of Barclaycard ( complete breakdown in communications) but the guy I spoke to said, they only accept 90% of the total as a Full and Final. ( I dont think so, from what I have read, FnF's can be as little as 30% of the value. so were going to wait and see if they will accept our offers in 6 - 9 months timeLBM - Oct - 08 DMP Started - Feb -09

I'm due CC and bank statements any day now so I can use them. Just not really sure about the loans. I'm sure I'll find something in my agreement forms.Do what you want because in the end people will judge you anyway.0

Lots of people get very good advice on here. My question from 2 days ago though just gets ignored0

Hey Steven,
Just repost your question. So many things do get lost when folk are in conversation about something else. Just post it as a quote and you'll definately get some advise.Do what you want because in the end people will judge you anyway.0 -

As a result my monthly payments to them will be lower as of next month. Can I expect a barrage of letters and phone calls from my creditors because of this as obviously the initial agreed payments will be slightly lower. Most of the letters from my creditors have said that the arrears have been wiped off but charges and interest will accrue if any more arrears appear. Whats the best thing i can do here....
I'll bump it up for you. Can't give any advice though as I have just started my DMP but I'm sure others will be along here soon.LBM: 20/01/09 Total Debt: £104,050Curr Bal (25/08/12): £46,109 (55.6% Paid):jDMP Start Date: 01/03/090 -
Hi Steven - sorry missed your post - I only check in from time to time and just read the last few - sorry!
Last October I reduced my DMP payments as all my bills had increased. It was about £70 less overall. And phone calls? None! And letters? Just one - First Direct asking me to sign a loan agreement saying I'd pay off the full amount on the 12th payment - as if I had 5K just sitting there  So I completely ignored it and nothing else since.
No extra interest, no charges, no moans or complaints at all - don't panic too much
The DMP is meant to allow you to live, pay your bills and pay your debts - in that orderworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
