Here's the official website but if you do a google search I'm sure you'll get them cheaper elsewhere.

    http://www.terramundi.co.uk/?gclid=CMGcsZi2qpkCFQ4yQgodGjh_pg

I think the cheapest I've seen them is £13.95 (I know it's alot of money, but they do really help me save cause I don't want to smash it!)

They look fab will see about getting one as I know I will cave and get the tin-opener out with the other thing

LONGER!!!!! BOUT 17years!!
Can I ask a question to those of you with CCCS and who have MBNA as a creditor, as I'm confused:confused: doesn't take much:confused:
Anyway, we have 3 cards with the MBNA group and our min contrractual payment was £25 regardless of balance., hence the fact we had so many cards with them. CCCS have said that they must work out the contractual payment as 3% of the balance which means that MBNA will now be getting £37 per month, rather than the £25 that they want, yet M&S fo example who want £150 are only getting £50  has anyone else had this prob?
    Thanks
    MD xx

I'm with CCCS and have a MBNA card but I had a letter from CCCS saying that MBNA are unable to accept my reduced payment because a larger payment offer is required.. My minimum payments were huge because MBNA put my apr up to 34.9% hence one of the reasons why I'm here

My understanding is that CCCS allocate payments on a strictly pro rata basis and don't take into consideration the APR's or minimum payments required.

    hi stolli
mbna has done same to me 35% interest after coming off 0% balance transfer.... originally it stated that it would revert to 'normal' rate after balance transfer period i.e 14.9%..... the interst they are charging me on 14k loan is 389 month.... one of the reasons i am here too..... took me over the top.... hence DMP

They're great, only trouble is I hate smashing them :D I suppose that's the whole idea though.
Do what you want because in the end people will judge you anyway.
  • Oh my god, I'm in utter shock right now! Just received my first letter from a creditor since cancelling my direct debits. It's not a bad letter actually, but it has my current loan balance on it. When I had my LBM i did an SOA on another thread and calculated my balance to be £9247.88 so you can understand my shock when I read on this letter that my actual balance is £4,767.97 :D How did I manage to get it so wrong??? I'm glad I did though, I now owe roughly £4000 less than I thought I did :rotfl:

50broke That was the same for me a few months before my LBM. 0% promotional interest, then up to 36%. So I started using it to draw out money as there wasn't much difference between the two rates...

massivedebts - I used to get a few calls at the beginning from creditors who would start speaking to me, then say, "oh yes, you spoke to us yesterday, sorry to bother you!" Think again it's where their automated systems ring us up, but haven't been updated with the latest.

My original dfd was 20 years! Thankfully a few months on I've managed to half that, which hopefully should keep the creditors happy.

Had a letter through today from KPR Debt Collection. They've taken over £500 of debt from Nationwide (Anyone know if they are inhouse?). Nationwide are still adding charges every month (And are the only ones still doing so). They're offering a ONCE OFF (Woo!!!) offer to pay off the debt. Gotta ring them tomorrow to find out how much. Think if it's £250 or less I may try and go for it... Annoying as the original OD debt was £400 and Nationwide have added the rest in charges.

Dont forget, you can reclaim the charges and see the "true" balance before offering any full and final.

What if they're offering me an FnF though? And it's on a bank account which I can't claim on yet as I'm not exactly in hardship...

Hmm. I suppose you could always mention the charges in any negoiations with them. Tell them you would eventually be able to reclaim them back, so deduct them from the alledged amount owed and then offer from there. Start with 50% of the total minus charges. They can only say no.

Never accept their first offer, they'll always go lower, especially a DCA.
