Am quite jittery now as I am desperate to get out of the job I'm in at the moment - it's affecting my health and they have admitted they've acted unfairly but haven't done anything about it, and because this interview is with Mind, I know that I would have a supportive and understanding employer if I got it.
I found a penny on the ground yesterday so I'll pop that in my pocket and hopefully it will bring me luck.
I'll keep you posted... think of me and send me positive vibes at 11.45

Sitting here with fingers crossed really hope you get the job.0 -
hope the interview went well wvw, good luck hun
jo_r, i get anxious and panicky too over finding suitable parking spaces, hope the appointment went well

I think that was a very well thought out post from Tiff. Sssssss I really hope you don't leave, I find everyone who posts adds something to the group 'dynamic'. I had a post deleted not long ago and must admit it did smart a bit so I can understand where you are coming from.
As an aside, I managed to get to the hospital to have my blood taken, needn't have worried about parking as there were loads of spaces, got to the clinic and there were 20+ people in front of me but things went so quick I didn't have to wait long - in a moneysaving sort of way I was more concerned about paying an extra hour on the parking than the usual getting worked up over someone sticking yet another needle into me!
When I got in the lady took my blood in a matter of seconds which was fine by me so very pleased with myself for not avoiding it and getting it out of the way!
Also popped to get some iron supplements (all natural don't you know?!:D), had a wistful look at baby stuff but have been very strict with myself and refuse to buy my last bits and bobs until I have made a list so I stick to it (and don't forget anything!) Again in true moneysaving fashion I have loads from DD2 anyway and the main bits we don't have (primary one being a moses basket) a friend is passing some of on next week.
Later is going to be busy so might not pop back til tomorrow, will see how things go!

Good luck with the interview wvw and it will be drinks all round if you get it
I'm hoping to hear back from some job applications soon, really need to get out of my job - boss is being a total !!!! and refusing to pay me 67.5 hours overtime I did -
So i've managed to get up and showered this morning, which is progress! And then had a very student breakfast of bread and butter and a galaxy bar! - i love being a student, its an excuse to eat weird things at weird times of the day
And now, having exhausted the competitions boards, i'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do haha. Should get dressed at some point, and I have to post some things for the royal mail survey today (anything to keep me busy) but that means going out of the house, which I don't really fancy.
I don't want people to think I'm not being supportive or whatever, and i think what is happening is really nasty, but I don't really know the rules, let alone where the report/delete button is, so haven't really got a clue what's going on. Just hope it all gets sorted out...
So....how do I get me one of these smarties.......0 -
Hi s, hun!
B]quote=Tiff[/B- I can't help but respectfully wonder whether the op's reaction is partly due to the stress he's under at the moment. The op has recently suddenly lost their mil and the op is also due to start a new job on Monday - the first time they've been able to work in 2 years. I'm so proud of them for that!B]/quote[/B
B]quote=s[/B ^^^ and just to be 100% clear OP = Sssssss
also OP is not stressed and just because OP is being treated for depression does not mean he can't see right from wrong, for the LAST time there was nothing in my post that broke forum rules.B]/quote[/BI've posted in good faith angel and tried to de-personalise it in some ways just so you didn't feel that I was having a go at you and just to look at it as a general example on how we might view things here, mostly because other posts have caused similar situations recently too.And yes folks, I can confirm 100% that s=op.And for the first time, I never said there was anything in your post that broke forum rules, hunnie. I also said I hadn't even seen your post so couldn't comment on that and also that it wasn't my place to judge it anyway.
I mentioned the stress possibility only because you've had a lot to deal with over the last week, angel and that might be why you're reacting so heatedly (because that's how your posts read atm) to this situation. This was only done out of courtesy and goodwill, s. Sorry if that wasn't clear hun. I had also acknowledged that you were bound to be upset to have a post deleted, as would anyone.Obviously any mention or comment on this situation is just inflaming it for you, and that wasn't my intention. My post wasn't aimed at you hun. I thought a reasoned (well, to the best of my ability anyway!) post to the thread in general would reassure peeps and help to show that, as in any conflict, there are no real winners, that we can all cool off a little because it's no big deal and how we need to look after our thread, and each other, very carefully.
There are no hidden agendas here.
Ok - whoa there and back up just a minute, s.
I have never stated at any point, hunnie that you - or anyone else - being treated for depression, doesn't have the capacity to know right from wrong. I would hope that anyone who knows me would know that if anything, in the way I work, I always try and assert the fact that mental ill health does not equal stupidity. How very dare you?!The Tiffster was gobsmacked for a minute there - only for a minute though.
I was quite insulted by this inference, but it honestly doesn't matter, s.
I made a post and I always accept that there may be a variety of responses and possible misunderstandings on either side and that there is never any point in getting drawn into a war of words. I firmly believe in practicing what I preach.
I do wish you every happiness, s - and good luck for Monday too, hun - we'll be thinking of you.
And on the bright side, at least you got my tail fluffy again, hunnie! And that, my dears, for what it is worth, is what I like to call 'Tiffing'.
Much Love To All,
