just wanted to post something happy tonight. most members of this thread know about my sons disabilities and behaviour, and how they get me down. well tonight is totally different, i am so proud of my son joshua, tonight we have been to the mayor's award ceremony at the town hall, where he was presented with a medal, and certificate, in recognition of his hard work in the community, mainly helping out at another school, landscaping their grounds, and also mucking out the stables, at the local riding for the disabled stables.
am so proud of him

Hi guys!
How are we all on this Purrsday?
I have to say thank you for the lovely greetings I received upon my return yesterday.I really missed you all too and I promise to try and catch up with reading your posts and maybe even answering some later.
And what was just as nice was to see some members of the clan posting again - Tiffy hugs going out to our sazzy, ettie b, gem, rbk, steph, beks, cara, cb2, may, fairy, flissy (of course I remember you angel!), lm, amber, ccstar, rose, qb, budd and meyore.
I was feeling kind of spaced out this morning, (yes, more than usual sazzy!), and I think the dreaded lurgy may have got me. I feel quite drained and tired and snuffly and my throat's a bit painful. Yes, I might possibly be joining the ranks of the under-well!
Hi beth!
Lovely to see your posts hun. Thanks for thinking of me, sweetheart.beth wrote:Tiff wrote:Originally Posted by TiffAs our savvy says, if a post upsets us, there's the abuse option and the ignore button. Failing that, I'll just start issuing Tiffy slaps!
Thats true, Tiff. Good idea! You can sort them out!!!:T
Your reply made me smile and as you can see angel, I'm taking your advice...
As if!
I know what you're up to really - you're just trying to get me evicted so that you can become Guardian of the Smarties! And I bet that katie-tulip might have a petal or two invested in this plan as well!
Hoping today was kind to you all.
Much Love,

Miiiiiiiiii-aow!He's a sweetie, hunnie.
How spooky a coincidence is that?!They could be twins - or...or...
Okay, okay - now I really didn't want to be the one to have to do this, but I think it's maybe time that you and sidpuss sat down together and had a little chat. I shall say no more other than 'a picture can say a thousand words!'
Besides, I don't know what you're getting so upset about - it's my lingerie he's wearing!
Hope you're well angel.

Hi ccstar!
How are you angel?ccstar wrote:I have had a very dull January
Felt a bit better this week
Then someone has to spoil it
I'm fed up with it:mad:
Sorry about that, ccstar - I tried to put off returning here for as long as I could, hunnie!
Thank you for your best wishes hun.
I'm sorry to hear your landlord is being a furball and bringing you down.
Even though I was going through 'stuff' here at Tiff Towers recently, I had noticed that your posts in December/January seemed brighter than they had been in a long time and I hoped things were improving again for you. You were being so supportive of others, which can't have been easy after the stress from all the house moves last year.
Don't let people like that light your fuse angel - karma's a wonderful thing!Let's hope February brings us a breath of fresh air.:j
Now if it turns out that there is a hurricane in February - (heavens forbid) - don't blame me, guys!
Safe journeys hunnie.

Lol. So that's what he's been getting up to when he disappears off through the cat flap for hours on end on his nightly jaunts :rotfl:
It's so nice to see you posting again. I hope you're doing ok. If not, I'll have to send the hairy hooligan round to give you slurpy licky kisses (of the canine type) which I don't think you'd be too impressed by
Look after yourself. Wrap up warm and snuggle up with the kitties and keep that lurgy at bay. xxThe independent woman's checklist for success :1. Look like a lady, 2. Act like a man, 3.
