Back from interview - hard to say how it went, it seemed to go ok but you just never know but...in all the panic about not being able to fit into my suit, I forgot to take the lucky penny I found yesterday.
    Aaagghhh!

They said that they will be ringing the successful candidate today so I'm home waiting by the phone with fingers crossed.

And just in case the phone doesn't ring between now and 5.30, I went and had a little mooch round in the new discount shop which has replaced Woolies - spent £16, got 2 big bags full of bits and pieces and I'm not going to unpack them until after 5.30 so that they can be a cheering up reward.:o

Thanks everyone for all your good luck wishes

I hope you get that phone call, WVW. Got all my fingers crossed for you.
  • Well guys, sadly nothing heard about the job  so I'm going to delve into my shopping bags to cheer myself up and this evening I think I'm going to make myself a sock monkey as a reward for at least getting an interview :T

If anyone hasn't seen the sock monster thread, do have a look - there are some lovely works of art on it and they really do make you smile to see them ;)
Here's a link to the sock monkey thread :

I must warn you though making sock monkeys becomes addictive so be warned!:rotfl:

I feel so tired and every little thing is irritating me today. Can't get warm either:(

I wish I could find a place and settle. It's not a good time to buy, so renting just now.
