If you just want Sat Nav then go for the Garmin, however I couldnt warrant spending that much money on something i wont use very often (mainly in summer) so I paid more for the PDA for its 'extra' features.
Exactly, I was the reverse, a phone and laptop covers most of my other needs so a simple Satnav more than sufficed. Horses for courses really, I like my penknife!0 -

Somerfield in North End, Portsmouth have 3 left I believe. Guy here at work bought one and said there were 4 left.
The office is turning into a giant SatNav hubThis space for rent0 -

Yes. Medion on the box. Anyone able to supply Navigator 5 as this was obviously included in some boxes?A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I just phoned medion, the lady on the phone said the software that comes with the micromaxx will not work in the medion because the units are slightly different, the software is being adapted for the medion and should be ready in about a month but you would have to pay for it.
Anyway, I am not happy with paying the same price for a lesser item so i rang somerfield who are sorting something out for me.0 -
Has anybody got a link to the Micromax one..... that Somerfield are selling at £129.99 and has anybody got any opinions over the £99.99 Garmin... help....Use your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!0

Sorry a bit misleading the Mio268 is ONLY a Sat Nav, no PDA outlook or anything like that although it can play MP3's but thats all. I bought the Micromaxx/mio160 and prefer this (for the extra features) but for £30 more than the Garmin which does exactly the same thing i would buy the mio268 (for a simple Sat Nav) as the screen size is worth the extra £30. Take a look at the mio website all info on there. HTH

I think its a steal at that price. I bought one but havent tested it out completley yet, just took it for a little drive and told it to take me homeThe voice directions are great, its got full postcode search which other "cheaper" systems dont and its small and portable. Ive updated it with speed camera POI and my dad is testing it so i will let you know what he thinks of it when hes back.
