Thanks very much, just got myself the last two from Kwik-Save.
I've heard they are very, very good a friend of mine has one and he say's it's a quality bit of kit, highly recommended.
Thanks again0 -
Top Tip..
If you use the proper monting set-up, thieves see it and know you've got a GPS in the car (usually glovebox or under seat or little CD holder space, so why not use a cheapo mobile holder to put your GPS box in.
I bought one from the £1 shop and cut a couple of plastic lugs off and it's a perfect fit for my Garmin i3!!!0 -
Try Hounslow - opposite Hounslow West Tube - had several yesterday0

I have purchased the MM 150 PDA from Somerfiled. The software that is pre-loaded is very slow and the Navigation software is not upto date, showing things that are no longer there, like petrol pumps. I have a friend who has a Tom Tom 5 and it's brilliant, it has loads of POI and speed cameras. I was wondering if anyone had the Tom Tom software for the MM 150 pda could hook me up with would really appreciate it.

Kwiksave at Aspley had the Micromaxx same price and has Ver 5 of software, whereas it looks as if medion only has v4.5 and you cannot upgrade so it seems,
Were two ipda's in the tobacco kiosk, about 7 Garmins, some lumicron 6 meg cameras and the Talex speed camers gps thingy all at Somerfield prices though have wrong dearer tickets, but scan ok.

Where did you get the speed cam updates? I can only find Tom Tom ones.
BTW
The Talex is greatfor £39 if you need speed camera info only, gives warnings 500yds with speed limit , 100 yds and tells you to slow don if you are going too fast. costs to update tho

Thanks
I run TomTom 5 on my PDA and TomTom mobile on my phone, neither version is up to date, recently when visiting West Wales it tried to send me a route over a rail crossing which had obviously been closed for some years, it doesn't show changes on a major M4 road junction which was completed early last year, but had been planned for various years...saying that the Medion map software never showed the changed road layout either
If you want tomtom 5 for the medion, just google search for it...there isn't any type of specific for itWelcome, rogerramjet.

My friend has the Tom Tom 5 on his mobile, should this work on the MM PDA? I tried to install this on my PDA but wouldn't work. Do i have to change the settings?
The Tom is more has more POI's and speed camera updates available.
Can you recomend any site to get the Tom Tom software.
Please PM with any suggestions.
