If you decide to get rid of the PDA I would love to take it off your hands for cost + p+p + paypal charges as I can't find one anywhere near me. :(
  • Many thanks to the original poster. Bagged the last Garmin Sat Nav at Somerfield in Royston this morning after they were kind enough to put it by for me. The pocket PC sat nav was still in stock, but the i3 looked easier to get on with.

I must say that I am very happy with it - tried to confuse it a few times today by deliberately going off the chosen route, but it re-routed very quickly and efficiently.

Have just downloaded all the various POI's, but yet to try them out.

    An excellent gadget :) says

It's a personal thing, you'll need to decide yourself which features are the most important to you. You've got both units just now so you're in a good position to rate one against the other

    Size - Garmin more portable
    Euro maps - PDA better
Speed camera - I think Garmin has the slight edge here, with speed sensitive warnings
GPS Sensitivity - You tell us! Which locks faster, and keeps lock in poor conditions?
    Flexibility - PDA better
    Ease of use - Garmin?
    Clarity/volume of audio directions - ?

It's the destination Postcode you need - the unit will know where you are by the GPS locator......... ;-)

What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

Ive installed the speed camera updates but havent taken it for a drive yet. Does anyone know if it (Garmin) warns you when the speed cameras are coming? Or if it only warns you when you are over the limit?
