  • For any who bought the micromaxx MDPPC 150 PDA, can you please advise what processor speed you unit is at. Had a look at the box for one of these and on the outside it says 233Mhz or above - is yours at 233 or 400 Mhz. Many thanks and apologies if this has already been answered earlier.

The 233Mhz you seen is system requirements for your PC not the PDA. The speed is under specifications. Its an Intel PXA-255 300Mhz processor

I dont see the problem, as long as he is declaring all the sales to the tax man it is totally legit.

Thanks. Thinking twice if I should go for this as my previous setup was an ipaq 2210 @ 400 Mhz which used to hang sometimes when running Tomtom
  • Went to the mitcham branch this afternoon to do a bit of shopping and i noticed theres still one on display :j no pda's tho.So if any you south londoners after a garmin get there quick!
  • If anybody is interested they had a brand new stock of mio 268 Sat Navs in Somerfields for £130, £30 more than the Garmin but worth it just for the screen size i'd say. Check out your local Somerfields!!!

Well the garmin found me a new way home from work today - I knew that there had to be a short cut down a side road but was always too nervous to try (well after once getting completely lost down there). I just took the turning and 30 seconds later the Garmin had a new route - OK slightly longer distancewise, but absolutely no traffic. Marvelous.
Still not sure that I want to keep it though - ebay is tempting - I don't have a cigarette lighter so am running on duracel batteries - don't know how long it will last and may prefer to opt for an alternative.

The i3 goes for hours on a pair of Nickle Metal Hydride Rechargables, I suggest this would be a good investment. I have not needed the Cigarette Lighter power supply yet.
