to which most lodgers would say 'goodbye' to. people need a life too.

If he has a girlfriend its fair to bring her back sometimes right? I mean... he is paying rent as well you know.

I think the whole lodging thing stinks, people take lodgers money to help pay their mortgages... then expect the lodger to be like the 19th century children... seen but not heard.

You cant take a lodger and not expect anything to change. He has a social life too.

If you want a "life" then rent your own flat.

If you want cheap lodgings then be a lodger and live a quiet respectful life as a paying guest in someone elses house.

I always think you should behave as you would at your parents -BUT if you'd take random sh*gs back to your parents and keep them all awake all night then I wouldn't want you in my house.

If Lord Shagalot finds his amorous exploits fettered by his landlady then it would be best for all concerned that he moves in with similar minded folk.

still it sounds like you want a lodger who has no social life or is an older person...

Ufortunately taking a lodger on means you have problems... consider taking a girl on as they usually aren't 'shagalots'.

it's not for you say, but that said Sir Shagalot should look to take his jousting kit elsewhere.

Surely if he's a Lord or even has a knighthood the papers would be interested in his exploits ;)
  • out of interest - what is the difference between a lodger and a tenant?

a lodger lives in the same property, i.e. rents a room in the landlords house.

They'd be more interested in actors in crap soaps or footballers unless it was 'something out of the ordinary' if you know what I mean.
