My pack arrived last week and I joined up at Cannons last night. 6 months for £21 a month, very happy with that.JudeB wrote:Is the gym membership restricted in anyway? i.e do you only get off-peak access or is it full anytime access membership?
Do you have to arrange an induction with your preferred gym and does that cost extra?
It's anytime membership and I've got a fitness assessment later in the week which doesn't cost extra. You could always phone the gym and ask them to clarify the exact terms.0 -
Hello all
Does anyone know if cannons in zone1 london is included in this deal???0 -

Monthly fee for single standard membership (excluding City club) – £25
Monthly fee for multiple standard clubs (excluding City club) – £45
Monthly fee for multiple clubs (including City club) - £50
The City club is in Cousin Lane and it seems you would need to pay £50 to use that one. However, there are other clubs in Zone1 (eg Covent Garden) that are included in the £25 offer.0 -
now is it just me or would it be smart to take out a policy each for a couple (thereby free membership each) rather than a joint policy? and does that seem silly to anyone else lol0

I was just pondering the same question kingkano - anyone joining as a couple?0
-
Iv just phoned them. Only one person on the policy will recieve the 6 months free, the other person needs to pay £25 a month.
The guy has just cancelled our joint policy and did them seperately so we both get 6 months free now. Worked out about £2 more expensive a month.0 -
There's usually a catch if you try to cancel the insurance early, but if you want health insurance anyway this is a good deal!0

I've been reading up on Pru Health and came across this review written by an individual: http://www.reviewcentre.com/review185703.html - They say they reached their discount level (silver) and were quoted £43 after their first year but they were charged £67 (originally started at £80). Apparently this was due to "hidden costs" by Pru.
Anyone know anything about these hidden costs?
Edit: also, how long does your gym membership stay at £25 for? They don't go to normal rates after a while do they? Like 1 or 2 years later?0 -
I asked the guy at Pru about cancelling etc and he said its fine to cancel at any time during the year as long as you havent made a claim. He assured me there is no hidden charges.0

Yes that seems to be the best way for a couple.
Does anyone know if children are included on the cannon membership for this offer (4 year old and a 2 year old), or do you have to pay extra.
