    download , install ( unticking the box to install yahoo toolbar) and then run. Let it remove all it finds just in case we have any rubbish hiding in the temp folders

    you can use it to scan removable media like USB drives , advise you to put it on girlfirends computer as well if she has no antivirus

  • Thanks Browntoa,I have AVG on this laptop but none on the infected one because the ram is less than 512(dont really know).my question is can I uninstall AVG on this one and instal avast cos I have been hearing positives about avast lately and does it not slow down the pc?Pls advise
