    called mbam-setup.exe

I've got the feeling you may have installed it on the other PC and are trying to copy the installation Folder from that Pc , which will not work

mbam-setup.exe is the install file that you first download

    this one

    download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

it may be sticking as it trys to run the MBAM.exe file it's installed

if it stays stuck then kill the install from taskmanager (ctrl/alt/del) and then see if the installed folder is there under Start, all programs

then find mbam.exe and rename it to cleanup.exe and try and run it

    try this

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

put combifix on a CD , you will not be able to use the recovery console part so just download combifix from one of the links , as before copy over to the desktop on the infected laptop , rename it to remover.exe and run
