Still really tearful today but getting on with things. Just about to go to my sister's house and I'm really not looking forward to it as I know ther'll be loads more tears.

Desperately hoping I can get an appointment with a doctor tomorrow. I'll be hitting redial from 8.30 until I get through so fingers crossed.

It went ok at my sister's. I went in and apologised to my neice straight away. She gave me a hugh and I cried. Managed to have a bit of a laugh as well as they got Wii Fit for Christmas. I'm rubbish!

Back at uni this morning and I think having some kind of routine again will help. I also managed to get an appointment to see a dr this afternoon. I was going to go to see Student Finance today as well but I think I'll leave it until tomorrow as I don't have all my numbers with me. Nope, that's not true. They're all on here. Scrap that. I'm away to print off my SOA from here then I'll get my butt across to the finance bods.

Well, I got my SOA together and headed off to student finance and... IT WAS CLOSED!!!!! Apparently they don't start back until Wednesday. But I've only got a class on Wednesday morning so I'll definitely head over when I'm finished.

Also went to the doctor. She was a lovely woman and I actually managed to hold it together. No tears today so far. Anyway, I've been given a different anti-depressant to try but she's said if any of the side effects are too bad (given my bad luck with some other ones) I've to go back in about a week. So now I've just got to keep struggling on until they start to kick in in a couple of weeks.

I opened a new bank account today - just a basic one but totally separate from all my other stuff so I'll spend some time tomorrow sorting out DDs and SOs that need to be transferred. Also need to get on to Student Loans Company so they can put my money into there every month.

On the job front, I've called up about a couple of things I've seen and now just need to send them my CV so that's another thing on my list for tomorrow. I'm checking the Job Centre daily so I'll hopefully find something soon. I'm going to go along to the 2 Kip McGrath centres near here as well and find out if they are looking for anyone.

So it's been quite a positive day. Unfortunately I'm now in my flat on my own and that's usually when I get really low but I'll try to stay positive and keep busy and maybe I can make it through the rest of the day without tears!

  • Try to focus on the positive things you have done today (well done by the way - at the finance people again though), have a bath and slob in front of the telly.

Today hasn't been very productive. I'm afraid I had a duvet day. Have just taken my dog for a walk and now I'm back I'd better get on with something.
