Monday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Level One
Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing
Level Two
Wash windows
Extras -

1. Wrap all the presents for family/friends

Tuesday - no laughing.. KITCHEN!!
Level one

Level Two
Wipe the soot off the light fittings and window sills
Wipe the soot from in the fridge!
Level Three
Remove the sooty webs and dusty corners!
Sweep and mop the sooty sticky fluffy covered in fireman boot print floor!
Extras

1. Empty a wash basket of smokey laundry..

n.b. please feel free to substitute sooty/smokey for filthy/sticky/smelly/etc

Wednesday - living room, hallway, stairs
Level one

Level two
Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
Wash the windows
Level three
Sort coats, shoes and bags
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.
Extras

1. Fill a binbag for charity shop
2. Defluff and deweb these rooms

Thursday - Master messroom! and landing
Level one
Strip the bedding and get it washed!
30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!!
Level Two
Vacuum the mattress, landing and floor
Remake the bed
Clean the windows
Level Three
Wipe down all the furry paintwork
Fill a binbag for charity shop or the bin!
Extras

1. Clean out any pets/wash pet bedding
2. binbag dance.

Friday -finale!
Level One
S&S the kitchen and bathroom
Change and dirty bedding that needs it!
Level Two
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any grimy windows
Collect any stinky laundry from about the place
Level Three
Clean out the fridge
Clear out a grotty cupboard!
Extras for the WHOLE WEEKEND!!!

1. Wrap remaining presents

Thought I was doing ok, but list still looks quite long. Maybe I will leave some of the level 3 stuff!! The last day I have children in today (I'm a childminder) so we are having a little Christmas party. Means there will have to be a big clean up operation this afternoon when they go home!!

Been up most of night with OH. He was in agony and I couldn't do anything, nothing came near to easing the toothache at all. Anyway he's gone to work!!!!To keep himself occupied because otherwise he's sat pretty much groaning in absolute agony holding his head. It's been awful.

Plan is to try our dentist when they open for an emergency appointment but it has to be today. Or try the dental clinic place in town if they'll deal with him or go private and we'll find the money somehow.

Going to make a coffee and just glad it's friday.

Emptied bins yesterday and disinfected and ripped off the stupid metal handle that stops all the rubbish coming out.

Hung some wet washing out.

Today need to clear some drawers in room.

Try to clear another cupboard from clutter.

Wrap some presents and get stockings sorted.

Last day at work for three weeks but feel really flat given OH's distress and pain.

Pigpen, I'll have a look in Leeds if you have had one sourced by saturday. We usually end up in there anyway, friend has a small child.

Well, I am now, officially, poorly. I'm dribbling snot, gross mucusy snizzis and massive sinus pain. The thing is, I feel so happy about it. I think it must've been the reason I was so unable to sleep. Too busy fighting, and now I've lost, I had my first potential full nights sleepin ages.:j I say potential coz I'm not sure what time I woke up but it wasn't so early that I knew I was awake for ages. Oh slept fairly well too, though he hasn't come out with lurgy-ness so it looks like he's still fighting...I'm the man-fluer of this house.

Right, gonna go make a list for today and the weekend. fair bit of catch-up me thinks. I will have this house shipshape by chrimbo eve

Deliver presents that you need to before christmas
Make a timetable for christmas prepartions.. turkey in.. turkey out.. etc
Clear the table and make it look pretty and festive for your christmas meal
Bake pies and buns!
Replace the batteries in your annoying singing things

Lil-me - it will take time to get over Megan and I'm sure Luke DOES know - dogs are far more perceptive then they are given credit for and which lego city sets were you after is it just the Police one? If I see one out and about today I could buy and post to you if you wish

Toots - hanging up the cards - I have picture rails so have put two tiny tacks in them at opposite corners and stuck a piece of string up. The cards get hung on the string

Right - off to find my list and update - sadly I have more to add to it!

Good morning all, so far things are looking alot better today. Kids are actually playing together instead of fighting. Dont know how long that will last.
Today I am going to try and work through the house and see how much I can get done.

Morning, just getting ready to take LO to school, it is their last day before the holidays.
Grr, so annoyed at my work, they never pay me properly:mad: For the past 5 weeks or so i have been chasing about £50 of gratuities i'm due, and every week they say ' no problem, will get it added on next week dont worry '. Well i finally got it last week, but they then didnt pay me any wages for the hours i've worked! Was promised i'd get it this week and i havent got it:( Not a good time of year to start flucking about with peoples money.


Lil_me, hope you managed some sleep honey, just saw the pic you posted of Megan, she is beautiful. I cried on and off for a week when my cat died:o They are such a big part of the family.

Right I'm up to date with the thread, but not up to date with with my Flying. :rolleyes: 1 out of 2 then!

I went to do some Christmas shopping last night. Not very successful really. We wanted to go to Boots, so I phoned before we came out. Phone went straight to answer machine saying that they were closed. So I didn't take the gift set that I wanted to change. When we walked past Boots, we discovered that it was open - till 10pm!!! AARRRGGGGHHH.

I'll be calling to complain this morning!

OK my list amended is below. It's going to be a breezy dry day today so I think I'll do the washing bits so it can line dry. God - there's still loads to do!

• Wash net curtains from bedroom
• Wash net curtains from front room
• [strike]Wash living room throws (two in washing machine atm)[/strike] All done, dried and back in place - also did the one from the little settee in the kitchen
  
• Wash cushion covers in the machine washing as I type

• Find Christmas tablecloth and napkins and check they don't need washing
• Present for J and deliver before Sunday when she goes on holiday

• Clean kitchen windows (again!) we've had more mucky rain
• Wash car - it's supposed to be silver, not grey!
