BTW does anyone want a 19 month old who has a habit of making a mess as soon as I clear it?

Didn't do to bad in my HHC - I have spring cleaned the long hallway. Polished all the picture glass and the front door glass, deep dusted underneath and behind things and the ornaments then washed the floor. Also found the christmas table cloth and napkins - they're now in the washing machine on a quick 'spruce up' wash. They were clean but, having been in the linen box for a year, I thought they might need just a little cleaning. Also hung the cushion covers on the line to dry.

Oooh - forgot to mention I also went through all the pens in the pot by the telephone and threw most of them away because they didn't work anymore!

Alright Summermoon - as I'm on a roll and the brush is still out, I'll do under the furniture in the living room and see how far I get!

I'm back! customer wsn't in when I got there so I'm at a loose end till 11am. Tried and failed to get parked at Asda on the way home  it's madness! So just gonna make some toast and a cuppa then see what bits I can do round here cause I want to use my time effectively.

Gryfon yes you can freeze fresh veg, so I'm told :D I've never done it myself but apparently you chop them up then blanche them then bung 'em in the freezer.

(((((((pink fairy)))))) it's rotten having a OH who's in a moody, and especially at Christmas, I've been there and it spoils the whole thing, best thing to do is to ignore him totally, get on with things, and he'll come round eventually....that's what I do/did mine's changed quite a bit this year....there is hope x

    AnW'sMum HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Oh PF I have everyone elses hero too, I hope things calm down a bit soon for you. You can't play super hero because he's being everyone elses hero all the time, could either DS go with you or someone else deal with what he needs?
Gryfon of course you can freeze veg, you can either cook it all at once then freeze it, blanche it and freeze it or just freeze it raw. There is only things like cucumber and lettuce, salad veg, which go sloppy when defrosted. Think of freezing this way, if you can buy it frozen you can freeze it from fresh.
Triker hope your DH gets sorted soon
ashia at least you know why you couldn't sleep now, but hope you feel better soon
soappie if you see Lego City Police Station then yes please, unfortunately seems the Ebayers have bought all of them. Boys are getting a terramundi from their Nana so I am sure they will buy it themselves after Christmas if we don't get one.
((hugs)) for the icky chuck pigpen

PF sorry I keep assuming everyone was here when she came 'back' http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=461207 that should explain it if you want to have a read. Morning walk without her wasn't good, bumped into another dog walker who asked where she was but she could tell by the tears rolling down my face I think, she just said 'oh no I am sorry' without me needing to reply, then we had a short chat while her grumpy pooch had a grumble at my scaredy one :rotfl:he's such a wimp sometimes and just kept crying when she grumbled at him . She was some comfort actually, she'd said at 19 her first dog had to be put out of pain, she didn't stay with him, she said since then every other dog she's stayed with as she still regrets it (her daughter is 22 so been a while) so I know I did the right thing as I would be the same.

Anyway, I'll jump in with that HHC and see what I can get done in the kitchen (may aswell do a room DP won't touch incase he does help later) because I need to keep myself busy.
One day I might be more organised...........
