    Morning lovelies!

pigpen just have to say, what a real trouper you are, you've had a lot thrown at you recently and not a whinge in sight, proper OS spirit. x

Lil_me Hope you managed to get some sleep last night, you did the right thing for Megan as hard as it was/is - hope you don't feel as upset in the next few days x

Pink fairy OH's *tuts* what a pain in the rear end they are sometimes (((((hugs)))) but what a STAR your DS is :T x

    Triker remember the travel insurance!

I feel like I've been up for hours when infact only been up since 7.30 lol I could just go back to bed :D work is imminent though and I've had another 'can you just fit me in' request so I wont be finished till 5pm tonight, that's a lot of hoovering :D I'm aching already.....

Newcastle was a bit of a disappointment last night, there was no atmosphere just millions of people buying stuff - twas very commercial, and The Pier closed early so they've missed out on a wad of cash from me, but I saved money so :p to them.

Littley finishes school at 1.30 today so Daddy is picking her up, then when I get in I'll be dropping her off at nanas coming back and finishing the wrapping with DD1 - hope there's something Christmassy on, if not I'll stick Deck The Halls on. Watched Jamie cooks Christmas last night and I enjoyed it, I want all the recipes now so I can look at them then they will never be looked at again :D I'm not a keen cook.

Flying today will be practically non-existant a bit of dailies and that's it.

    ((((((christmassy hugs all round)))))) *mwah*

    Laters gators x

  • He doesn't do talking, unless it's to do with Army/Cadets/DofE. He doesn't do calm very much either.

If we were to go to a party tonight, he would be the life and soul, everyone would think he was wonderful. He can be really caring. He's probably worried about work, the same as everyone else. He's an HGV driver (tyre distribution) and he's said before that they are supplying less as people are running their tyres down to the minimum, so there may be cutbacks at his place. Having said that, he's been there almost four years, never been happy, gone on and on about working for a particular company (related to cadets/youthwork) but you can't just hold out in case a vacancy comes up. It hasn't so far, so how many years should he wait?

I just feel really miserable (sitting crying - but trying to remind myself I'm luckier than some), partly because I've felt unwell for so long, so I've not been well enough to finish painting the lounge that I really wanted done before Christmas.

The only other thing I can think of is if he is still not smoking. He didn't smoke while he was off last week, because he was coughing too much, and said he was going to try and keep off them (he did that last time he had flu and didn't smoke for 6 months)

ETA - feel bad whinging when others have so much more to contend with. If it wasn't for DS because of his health, I'd probably just take off for a while!

Hugs again Pink - it could be the nicotine withdrawal that's making him cranky. Have you thought about buying him some nicotine gum?

    pink...big hugs, sounds horrible :(

lil_me...hugs, thinking of you, awful when you have to let an animal go :(

Hugs to all the poorlies as well, hope you feel better by next Wednesday!

As usual I have thousands of millions of bits to move into homes but no enthusiasm. I think it's a combination of AF and not eating enough vegetables which is making me lethargic. I think I worked out that in the past few days I haven't been eating properly at all and might have had maybe 1 portion of veg if that  Which means it's not surprising I have no energy! I have a few hours before the children are back for the holidays, think it might be time for me to write out my shopping list. BTW does anyone know if I can freeze fresh veg? I usually end up buying lots of veg which then goes manky as I don't use it quickly enough. I also need to find a list of what portion sizes are so I can try to get 5 a day into everyone.

Reading through yet another clutter book ;) It did inspire me to bring down a photography mag I've read and a birthday card from the bathroom and put them away so that's a start! So my small list for this morning which I really should be able to complete is:

Hang up wet washing before it smells!
    Dishwasher
    Clear sink of washing
    Clear workspace around kettle again
Shopping list and meal plans (saw a lovely turkey and leek pie on Jamie Oliver last night)
    Christmas card list
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible

pink...even if he is unhappy with work he shouldn't take it out on you, it's not fair! Have you thought about phoning someone at one of the women's welfare services? Can't be good if you'd leave if it wasn't for DS :(

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He has no teeth! :D He had a problem which meant there was nothing to support them, had to have them taken out, can't wear his false ones! I did offer to get him patches.

It was the way he looked at me (I actually felt as though, at that moment, he hated me - I know that sounds dramatic) that really hurt me.

I'm working from home today, so in theory I should manage to get my study cleared up (I'll have to if I actually intend to get any work done!). The piles are getting so high that if I move suddenly I'm in danger of causing a landslide...

Still no sign of the builder... and no phone call... nothing...

Big hugs Pink Fairy, nothing worse than being treated like that for no obvious reason.
Am having lovely peace and quiet right now, i do love having the house to myself. Having tea and toast and then i'll get cracking on some flying.
