Toots, with me being home alone (well kids but they are in bed) I'd crack up if I didn't keep posting, seriously, I just tried to goto bed but sat crying my eyes out instead of sleeping so came back to chat. Once like I said I see her rolling in freshly cut grass (in particular when she'd just been to the groomers!) instead of crying at me in the vets, I'll probably be able to settle.

Right, think I will try to get to bed again, will let Luke out first, need to make sure everythings there ready for in the morning as I'll likely be in the same frame of mind. DPs kicking up a fuss about DS2s performance being on but he wants to get sorted in the house, men! I'll see how it goes, if he's as unhelpful as expected, I'll drag him to the performance, I did say he could have done more today, or all the rest of the weeks/months this year! Christmas tree looks terrible, stupidly left the heater next to it not thinking it'll dry it out....bother!

Just realised, this is the first christmas that I haven't had a 'performance' to go to. No play, no choir, noperformance of any kind. My girls are growing up.:(

We've been busy tonight though, been very productive, I'd show you all if I knew how to post pics.

me too triker!!! lil_me she's lovely I hadnt realised she was an alsation/GSD for some reason I thought she was a smaller dog! Keep looking at the photos that you can relate to happy times and I am sure you will settle.

Toots, sorry, never have done little dogs really, Luke's a lab/springer cross so quite big too, very muscular built. Rescue we were looking at maybe supporting next year doing foster care is a big breed specialist with rotties, gsd, husky etc going to see how things go first. http://www.shak.org.uk/index_files/Page382.html Rainbow Bridge on their website.

My OH in a really bad way with this tooth pain, reckon it'll be an emergency job in morning. Given him co codamol and brandy to numb pain. Not touched it.

I feel a bit helpless really.

Triker, hope he gets it sorted soon. We always have something called Orajel (max strength) in for extreme tooth pain. Being this lovely time of year he'll be best sorting it sooner rather than later.

Monday - bathroom and other grotty places!
Clean the loo and the shower and the basins!
Wash windows
Clean curtains/blinds etc
Declutter floors
Drag out the pc desk and clear under and behind it ... see how good I am to you lot!?

Tuesday - no laughing.. KITCHEN!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Wipe the soot off the cupboards and appliances!
Wipe the soot off the light fittings and window sills
Wipe the soot from in the fridge!
[strike] Wipe the soot from the table and the dining chairs![/strike]
Remove the sooty webs and dusty corners!
mop the sooty sticky fluffy covered in fireman boot print floor!
If you still have one... clean the [strike]cooker and [/strike]hob!

1. Polish any smokey smudgey mirrors
2. HHI

Wednesday - living room, hallway
Clear the floor of clutter
Tidy the baubles and lights on the tree
Vacuum the hallway and living room
Wipe and water plants
Wash the windows
Wipe the sofas and wash any skanky soft furnishings
Sort coats, shoes and bags
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway

1. Finalise your christmas menu and shopping list
2. Defluff and deweb these rooms

Thursday - Master messroom! and landing
Strip the bedding and get it washed!
30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!!
Vacuum the mattress and floor
Remake the bed
Clean the windows

Friday -finale!
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any grimy windows
Collect any stinky laundry from about the place
Clean out the fridge

3. Wrap remaining presents
4. Deliver presents that you need to before christmas
5. Stick all your cards up
6. Sort childrens presents into separate bags so they are easier for Aunty to sort.

try new bulb in bathroom light - might need electrician if still not working
Tidy up your jewellry and slap.. Get rid of the old stuff
clean front door
friday-finish shopping, do wrapping and flying, tesco's for refunds
dundee- get refunds, pj's, stuff for dragonlady
Saturday - visit nice old friend(remember her shopping) finish any wrapping
sunday - flying
monday -me day/haircut. phone re diabetes results
tuesday- dragonlady coming
wednesday - go to bruv's

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is to write down everything I spend
- this is not working!!! Anybody got any ideas that might help - i would be grateful!!!

I have been doing jobs but none of them seem to be on my list and they were all fairly important! - I have deleted the not applicable things so it doesnt look quite so bad:eek: and will be flying on Saturday morning I think and all day sunday and then thats it - well thats the plan!!
Now my shredder has given up the ghost - I spent ages tonight taking it apart and cleaning it etc but the motor is jiggered so its been consigned to the wheelie for the morning - will have to get another asap - its essential I think!!!
