  • Just had two birthday glasses of wine (blame lil_me) and heading for bed.
Before I go I want to say thanks again for the birthday wishes.
You really are an amazing bunch of people. I know that some of you are poorly, some are coping with long-term health problems, most have very busy work/home situations and other crises to deal with, but still so many of you found time to send me good wishes.
I sat at the puter watching them all appear and wanting to hug you all for caring for someone who doesn't post all that often or very usefully.
I am going to bed tonight feeling incredibly cared about.

re the Disney store visit - It won't be me, hun. Our nearest Disney store is in Meadowhell (common parlance hereabouts - makes me wonder if Chamichelle's ok - not posted today - hope you are OK hun!.) There is NO WAY I am going there before the man in the red suit comes (although I do love it).

That's why I love it here Crafty...it feels like home IYSWIM
In fact (o my lord she has been on the sauce) this is what women have always done - supported each other, passed down knowledge, advice and support. Well don't you think it's fantastic that we can now do this over such a wide geographical area - I do! We offer advice (asked for or not) support, tips, recipes (thanks G&B for the muffin advice) and we are involved in each others lives. It's lovely. Which reminds me...hope the move goes well Emilyjackson and I wish you joy in your new home XXXX -speaking to my neighbour this morning - she gave me a kiss - and seeing her life has improved no end has been a really cheerful thing - though I know that Lil_me is needing and receiving our love and support right now - quite righly also Supergirl's friend and her son - real swings and roundabouts stuff.
Those of you with faith I would ask you to pray for Emily who has been so very ill, isn't getting into school much and is now stricken with pneumomia - she has suffered so much for so long...

Pigpen - no disney store, but a VAST amount of kitchen stuff boxed up in the garage. PM me a list of anything you need to see you through and I'll dig through the boxes at the weekend.

Pigpen - re Disney, Ashia is going to Leeds on Saturday she might be a good bet as she will be able to hand deliver and then you won't have to rely on the post. If you pm her she will pick up the message first thing in the morning as she gets up at about 5.30.

Megan was allowed to go peacefully at 4pm today, vet said she felt that was the best thing to do given all of her problems, could see the change in her like we could, I stayed with her and part of me does wish I haddn't but one of those things I'd have regretted either way, thank you for all your lovely messages, too busy crying reading them to read properly at the minute. Will pop back later when I have pulled myself together a bit more.

For you Lil me with love xxxx

    'The Rainbow Bridge'
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food, water and warm spring weather. The old and the frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day together. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated.

    Evening all,

Massive hugs to Lil_me i'm really sorry for you all.

    Happy Birthday Crafty.
    YUCK ALERT don't read if you're eating:eek::eek:,

Ds2 was in the bath earlier and i left him playing with his toys whilst i made the sandwiches for the Toddlers xmas party tomorrow ( the bathroom is through the kitchen so i could see him ). He's happily splashing around when he says Oh no theres poo in the bath ( in a shocked voice:confused:). I go in there and he's pooed in the bath:eek::eek:.
I showered him and the bath and put him to bed. He's just started night time toilet training so has a potty in his room as the toilet is too far away downstairs. I'm downstairs wrapping the presents for Toddlers when i hear a bang and he says Oh no poo. He'd only chucked the full potty over the stairgate:mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek: and it wasn't completely solid:cool:. Why he couldn't just call me to empty it i don't know:confused:.

It's my last day running Toddlers tomorrow:j i'm so excited. I've enjoyed it but won't be too sorry.;)
