Morning lovelies.
Lil_me - beautiful pic. Hope the happy memories are beginning to come to the fore - after a rocky start she had a good life with you all.
Triker Hope OH gets sorted sharpish and you REMEMBER THE TRAVEL INSURANCE
I staple mine to home made trimmed strips of ribbon I hang from the picture hooks. Then they dont fall down. I use the 'pin' part of the stapler so it folds the ends out (and not under) and they are easy to take down. Not that I have put any up yet...toottifrootti wrote: »hang up cards - somehow - pegs? got tiny gold pegs Valli - would have liked decorated ones but couldnt find any here

.I like a bit of gin and a lot of tonic.
I only add the gin because, as we all know, you should not drink tonic neat. And you need the tonic because of the quinine in it - which, as we all know, is anti-malarial. As I've had no symptoms of malaria at all, it must be working, therefore I class it as medicinal!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Good morning all
Lil_me - what a beautiful girl. She's adorable. Huge hugs to you all. Sorry to be thick, but what did you mean about "getting her back"? I expect your other dog is missing her as well.
Valli - prayers for Emily.
Warning. Sorry guys, but I need to unburden myself. Still got really bad headache (I was up at 2.30 yesterday taking migraine stuff) ans still feeling quite sicky, but coughing a bit less. OH is being a complete sh*t and I've no idea why. He sat down in his armchair last night and it was back against the recently painted wall, so I asked him if he would move it forward a bit. He glared at me like I was dirt and said "Why? Why should I?" and it went from there! I went to bed and was asleep when I heard him shouting my name from the bottom of the stairs. I went down and asked what was wrong. The family had heard a noise and thought I was calling so sent him to find out what was wrong. I asked him if he thought I'd be able to answer with no voice and told him I wouldn't be asking him for help anyway! Went back to bed, and heard DS having a real go at him for upsetting me. DD said this morning that probably wouldn't help, but OH left without even saying goodbye this morning. DD said she'll try and speak to him, but it probably won't do any good as he won't talk about anything. DS is out tonight as well, so I'm looking forward to an uncomfortable evening! And if he doesn't sort himself out, it will be a rubbish weekend and a worse Christmas.
On the up side, OH came to bed, leaving DS downstairs. When I came down this morning, he had:
Wiped down all the kitchen counters
Set the dishwasher off
Set the breadmaker
Set the coffee pot
Tidied the lounge
Dusted the fireplace (which is awful since we lifted the carpet, pending laminate floor)
He's brilliant.
Off to try and drink my cup of tea.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Pink - big hugs love - can you sit down calmly with OH and ask him what's the matter. There must be SOMETHING underneath that's making him act this way.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
