I didn't receive the credit either. I'm fed up of contacting CPW, I think I'll go the chargeback route as well.
  • I am awaiting a cheque from CPW after trading standards intervened on my behalf.

Don't build your hopes up, I was promised a cheque from them over 3 weeks ago, still no sign of it.

I'm not, but I have the direct line of the nice lady at trading standards, just in case!!!

I brought the phone back in December. I have checked my account and found that the Quidco transaction has been declined. I wondered has anyone else had their transaction paid or declined?

    Sorry to hear that.

No surprise there really, it seems that CPW do not play by normal business rules.

I've had my Quidco paid this month so I popped into CPW and had my £10 put on. It took 3 1/2 months to get it sorted but at least it is just a spare phone and I didn't really need it. I didn't want to speak to CPW before because it wouldn't have been a wholly online transaction and they would have refused to pay my Quidco.

Bought this phone at Christmas, but we both really hated the lack of predictive text on it, so this morning I have......

Sony Ericsson T250i on O2 Pay As You Go new phone for £9.95
Will get cashback for going via Quidco £5.00
Recycled/sold my Sony Ericcson J132 to Envirophone for £5.56 in Argos vouchers (would have been £5.05 for cheque payment)
Registered with Envirophone via Quidco for £3.60

I did need to purchase £10 top-up on O2 for the phone deal, but I am already on O2 for the phone we are currently using, and are due to buy a top-up anyway.(We have one phone we use most of the time, and the other is only an emergency contact phone)

So, all in all the new quadband phone WITh predictive text will cost me the princely sum of MINUS £4.61:j or £5.39 if you include the call time top-up.

Not bad for 20 minutes work/surfing:D
