I was quite relieved to find that it wasn't just me, who hadn't got the credit. Sorry if that sounds unkind, it's not meant to. Anyway I e mailed carphone warehouse from the online complaints bit. Someone said there was no option for orange so i just chose another random one then told them why. The result (hopefully) is that I will get the £10 credit in 10 days. I really hope I do as I got my oh to buy himself this as it was such a bargain and he hasn't stopped moaning about what a con it is ever since. Nothing in it for me either as I was so excited I forgot to log into Quidco.

FINALLY - managed to get a 12 digit code from a customer service guy (CPW) over the phone:j - just a shame the whole process has taken 35 days!

I've had my phone on since christmas day with no credit too. Just rang CPW & i said i was having the same problem as hundreds of other posters on MSE & that i knew they could give me a 12 digit code over the phone as other prople had reported, so she did. Don't agree to go to a CPW shop, you don't need to if you persist on the phone.

I think I will have to phone too soon. Still haven't got the credit. I did have a text to ask whether I would recommend carphone warehouse to a friend though. Hmmm

Well, after numerous emails, and refusing to go to a high street store, they refused to give me a voucher code number, but are posting me a cheque for £10 :beer: let you know once arrived' can take 28 days to arrive'

I bought two of these phones on line and rang cpw to get the credit put on-no luck so far, though they have said they are sending a form to-who knows where-and within ten days the credit should be on each of the phones.The woman I spoke to said if it doesn`t appear, ring them back and they would give me a voucher for the credit.Bit of a palaver, but once the credit does go on, great find.

I bought one of these phones on14/12/08 and still don't have the £10 credit. I have been into the cpw shop and they said they would have to complete a form for me and then I would get a credit in 10 days. No credit was received so phoned customer services who said that they would complete a form and I would get a credit within 24 hrs. No credit received yet so phoned the customer services again and asked for a 12 digit code and was told that they don't give this out. I asked to speak to a manager and asked for a refund as I am fed up being given the runaround. He said it's not possible. He said that that they are completing another form to send to orange and I should received the credit within 72 hrs. I told the manager that many other people have posted about this fiasco on the internet and that they'd better watch that they don't end up on 'Watchdog'. I know it's only a tenner but it is a disgrace that it's such hard work to receive the credit we have all paid for up front.

I have sent CPW yet another email, stating clearly that i would take things further if I dont get the credit, which lets face it, we have payed for!!!

We should not have this fiasco. Im unimpressed, and will be making my feelings known if they get back to me, and if not..........Ill get back to you, but it will involve the trade desciptions act and or Ill send the boys round!!!!

Spoke to 'Jennifer' who is a 'senior floor walker' at cpw. ahem. Promised me the credit within 72 hours.

I'll post back then, but if not, im gonna get serious. Not one for forgetting.

Might be back asking for advice about sales of goods act etc etc, consumer council etc etc. Someone on here will be able to advise i'm sure.
