Molly, glad scan result was good! do you take glucosamine and chondritin (sp?) for your joints?
I nearly died of shock last night when I realised its Christmas next week!
I'm so disorganised my sis has bought the gifts for my mum n dad, MIL bought her own and her dads from us:o FIL said he doesn't want/need anything so just our presence is fine but we'll have to find him some nice wine or maybe his fave weiss bier,
We are also giving everyone a bauble with a pic from our wedding and a pic of Chris dressed as a reindeer (a photo which I haven't even taken yet, let alone got 20 copies of!)
I need help!0 -
Molly, Sami, Caz just remember we are all fantastic multi-taskers and if FC can bend time to suit then maybe we should try that too, lol...
If all else fails Im pulling the preggers card!:j

Morning (just about!) all. Treated myself to a lie in today after my busy day yesterday, so have just eatn my lunch (it seemed a bit late for breakfast, so I skipped it!)
Baby is really active this morning - keeps headbutting me in the cervix really hard and making me squeak!
All but one Christmas present is accounted for here (did them mostly online nice and early due to walking round the shops on crutches REALLY not being an option at this time of the year!) - one friend is getting some kind of cheese related present, so I will go buy that on Saturday afternoon, as he's coming to visit Saturday night. I have the last 3 cards to write, but I can't quite bring myself to get on with them. It's because the first of the 3 is a combined chrismas/thank you card to work, and I have to write words in it, and I don't know what to say! I need to sit myself down and get it over and done with.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Panicking now. My sister is 28 weeks pregnant as had had swelling in her hands and ankles fo a while which we assumed was normal. She had her MW appointment today and they have taken her straight up to the hospital as the babys heartrate is far too fast and is difibulrating (sp?) whatever that means. I am only 4+2 and trying not to panic and stress out as it wont be good for my little one either but I can't think what could be wrong with her? We assumed gestational diabetes which is what we expected to get confirmed today. What could it be? Does it sound like pre-eclampsia? The swelling does but does it normally affect the heartrate like this??
Fingers crossed everything will be OK I wish they would ring me from the hospital and tell me what is happening.0 -
oh selvis you need to calm down i bet your sister wouldnt want you to worry like that! she is in the best possible place where they will look after her and make sure everything that needs to happen will happen. just sit tight and maybe give it an hour and try to phone xxxWhat's for you won't go past you0

Shelvis they are both symptoms but try not to worry if it is pre-eclampsia she will be made to bed rest and have iv antibiotics and all should then be fine, its very easily treatable and is very rare that it does any damage to mum or baby if treated0
