  • Morning all,

I took piccies of my blue line test and digital tests - glad I did as they both faded after 24 hours! Got piccies of me and hubby holding the tests (the clean end!) too.

I am 18.5 weeks with the twins and in this last week I have suddenly ballooned. People who haven't seen me in a week say a very distinctive biggish bump has suddenly appeared. I feel big too. I can already feel the restrictions of movement (first time pregnancy so all this is new to me anyway) such as putting my socks on. I am going to be huge come the end of April.
Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T

Got my 16wk babycentre mail today and in it it said "You will now be visibly pregnant" well I'm not :( why couldn't they say you might have a visible bump or something like that I just look like I'm having a fat day, still got an inch or so in my tightest jeans.
I really want to go shopping (again!) today for some new boots hopefully from clarks sale and some new trainers but I'm stuck in waiting for royal mail to bring me Chris's cute santa sack from M&P but I know the earliest it'll come is about 3:30 boooo hoooo!
We did manage to get up before 9 this morning :j with no sicky side effect for me :j
but then I'm sad again coz hubby is currently in Belfast and won't be home til friday night probably about 11pm

  • Hi everyone,

Was very sorry to hear your news Mrs Army, please do ring NHS direct to be safe.

Labour vibes SB, although you still 'sound' quite sane, lol

Ickle I know what you mean about restrictions on movement, Im only baking the one bun but with this weather Ive been putting tights on and its HARD! plus getting out of the car with bags - normally up and over me- no more.

Im not that big yet but if i wear a jumper rather than blouse to work it gets commented on, luckily not very often as its freezing where i work so the coat stays put!!!! Think I might be massive too, more to icecream and cakes - (been good all my life).

ooh Don't remind me about sock n shoe trouble I'd forgotten about that :p
I suppose the good side of twins tending to be early is that the mum is pregnant for a shorter time, even if she is much bigger
