searching i think that we all get like that no matter how far on we are have had a few days like this myself esp the past day or two. just feels like everything is getting on top of you and its hard to shake off. best advise i have had is to get in a nice hot soapy bath with a book/cup of tea and chill. the more you keep going the worse it will get, sometimes you need to take a step back and say stuff it for a few hours!!!

need to follow my own advise i think lol! been so stressed about mess of the house etc etc i have completely been ignoring what really matters and kids/OH seem to be avoiding me as they dont know if i will explode or not?

Searching - deep breath :) It'll all be ok.
Carla - I hope it stops at around 12 weeks for you - it's a nightmare if it doesn't! (She says still yacking up at 18 weeks... thankfully it's FINALLY started to get a bit better... some things still set me off far too easily)
Do eat something first thing before you get out of bed - even if it's just a piece of toast or something. I found trying to have a shower before the nausea has died down is just not doable... So I have breakfast and then when I feel human I go have my shower instead of the second I jump out of bed.
Eat little and often and don't be afraid to buy 2 sandwiches if lunch is a little way away... both because you might throw one up and then you still have the other one ;) and because come lunch time what you fancy might have greatly changed!

  • How often are you using medication now MrsTine? I found that once mine started to improve, it quickly got a lot better. No medication any more, and I can actually eat three meals a day now!

Searching; I'm sorry your feeling down, have you ever suffered with any depression or are you sure its just preg hormones? I had a down period when I was just feeling sick n tired constantly. it lasted about 2 weeks then suddenly went away. If you feel able to then mention it to GP or MW. Hopefully you'll be fine again soon! :)

  • Members maybe aware my husband, armybike, has posted here previously and I've had a MC.

The problem is that due to circumstances and advice from the hospital i've taken the natural route.

I was 10wks when I found out that i had suffered a delayed mc and had quite a big bump. When I started to miscarry a few days later my bump started to disppear, now the bleeding has started to subside (sorry TMI) my tummy has began to swell up again and it looks like a pregnancy bump.

Is this common? It is causing me alot of distress and unfortunately I can never seem to get hold of any medical professionals to give me an answer.

Feeling I just take it when it's really bad now... if I've had a bad day and I can feel I'm a bit icky I take one when I go to bed so that I don't get a wave of it first thing in the morning.

Caz - I'd give her something not pregnancy or baby related... something like a pamper hamper maybe? Nice bath stuff, some really nice bump lotion, some hand things and nail varnish, face masks and maybe nice chocolates or other treats and some posh candles.

    Hi MrsArmy,
Hopefully someone can offer you some advice in a second but I would call the NHS direct if you are worried. It's what they are there for! :)
Personally I wouldn't wait until tomorrow before calling just in case and because you will worry...
And we hope to see you back here really soon!
