    Hi all..

I've nipped off work early cos I have to do work-relating errands tonight - ie going out to Asda to get food for our mini buffet lunch tomorrow! :D

When I was in Mothercare on Saturday, I wanted two bras, one black one pink, but they didn't have the pink one in my size so said they'd order it and it would be sent to our house. I'd been in the house for about five mins when there's a knock on the door.. turns out it was our neighbour, stood there holding up a silver package with "Mothercare" written all over it. She greeted me with the words "something to tell me, dear?" LOL :)

Elle - we have the nosiest neighbours in the world. When the postman drops the post in the porch the neighbours come over, come into the porch and post the letters into the house - even when I am in
I purposefully didn't tell them I was pregnant - and then I think it was Cow and Gate sent me junk mail with 'are you excited about your 12 week scan?' all over it... Did I really want the postman (and the neighbours) to know that???

Speaking of bras and boobs, I was talking to one of the women at work (we're close!) about having been a 34D before and now wearing a 36D but thinking I should be in a 36DD (I'm going to swap the one that's just come for a bigger size), and her eyes nearly popped out of her head, followed by "you're never a D!". The lady in Mothercare said the same thing, insinuating I was smaller, but the one at work followed it up with "You're Jordan-esque! You must be an E normally at least!"... Maybe I look bigger than I thought! :o
  • MFD how weird is that? is it a communal porch?

Anyone else seen the tommee tippee bottles on toysrus, 4 for £6ish delivered, is this any good? i wasnt even thinking yet cos dont know what steriliser il have but I am very MSE, dont want surplus or wasted new bottles if a steriliser comes with them, i 'hope' to bf.

Are you serious  ....that is bordering on stalker behaviour!
  • No it is not a communal porch. It is OUR porch.

I hate it. The porch doesn't currently lock but I have told hubby that he had better make sure it does before I go on maternity leave or I will be waiting with a kitchen knife for them one day ;)

They think they are being nice and stopping the burglars from seeing that we are not in

  • Wow thats seriously odd behaviour, i would HATE that.

Maybe leave a note in the door to say 'i would appreciate ANY callers to refrain from entering this porch for any reason' do you have a doorbell outside? if so then they really are taking the mick!!!

They are old and have nothing better to do! There is a doorbell on the outside of the porch. I just want to lock the door and forget they exist.

We had some hanging baskets outside the house (at the back which is all fenced off) and one of them stayed alive much longer than the others - turns out the neighbour had been watering it over a 7ft high fence :rotfl:

    I have to laugh - laugh with me...please :o
