Its grapes all the way here, got some whoops at asda yesterday and they are totally lush, keep trying to stop eating them as scared will cause all sorts of probs if i eat the whole bagfull.
Random question alert - whats happened to Fern on this morning? she wasn't there again and its that horrid Ruth type, I had to turn it off!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
I can understand your husbands disgust MFD... I can't stand humous or avocado!
I noticed that too Millie's Mum... I think she might be having a holiday with Phil, sure they mentioned something last week... I'm still watching it... Just for Philip Schofield...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hmuph! My jeans are too big, my shirt is too small and how can Scottish power justify £114.69 electricity for 6 weeks?!?! :mad: Hmmm thats why we're leaving them! And I fogot dog food too.... Back to town tommorrow I suppose.

p.s. apparently calcium is really good for reducing pregnancy related hypertension. Can't remember who was talking about that earlier, sorry! 2000mg daily will really help. Also good to take at onset of labour, as it reduces the sensitivity of pain receptors!

Can I join you too please?
I posted on the ttc 12m+ thread last week, as I'd got my BFP after 20 months trying this time. I haven't seen the doctor yet, but I think that my due date is around 2 October. I'm trying to wait until I am 6 weeks before seeing the doctor so hopefully I can have an early scan at the same time to make sure baby is OK, as my first pregnancy was a blighted ovum, so I'm always on tenterhooks until I see the baby and the heartbeat.
This is no 3 for me, and I am shocked that I am huge already, and only 4+5! I was reasonably slim up until last Friday when I tested (wearing my size 10 jeans and feeling OK in them). As soon as I got the BFP it was like someone snuck up on me with a bicycle pump! Over the last week, my boobs have gone up 3 sizes, and I can't even get into size 12 jeans, which I'm currently wearing with a hairbobble to keep closed and a long top! A complete stranger even asked me when the baby was due when I was 4+1, and I'm positive all the mums at school have guessed. Did this happen to anyone else or do you think I may have my dates completely skewiff?
Anyway looking forward to getting to know you all, and to picking up some good tips about what to buy and where, when things are a bit more established.0 -
Congratulations Nicki! I think you must be a little bit out with your dates, I remember with my last pregnancy that I found out the first week in Feb when I was a few days late and I was due 26/09 so could you be a bit further on than you think?
That doesn't really explain the growth spurt though does it? I definitely got bigger quicker this time but not that fast!

Before I try and catch up with the thread...
Went to Asda to see if there was anything worth investing in... guessing there was as I spent about £65! :eek:
Got the nappy bin thingy and spare cartridges for it. The Johnsons wipes for £5. 2 x White Johnsons boxes (as much for the box as the contents... I like white and it means we can have one made up ready to travel etc and one at home). CTN microwave steriliser - last one no less! And a few bits and bobs
Also got another starter pack free (when I went for my scan they gave me another bounty pack so have had 2 and obviously got the free starter pack bookmarks in both
)
THEN - because £65 just wasnt' enugh to spend in one day... - I stopped by Babies'R'Us as they had a cot on sale I liked but it was sold out online - and they had it in stock in the shop! YAY So spent £165 on nusery furniture! :eek: £115 for the cot and £50 for the dresser - both are lovely and simple which is VERY us
So today before lunch I have spent £230 :eek: (on my Amex card so at least I get cashback :rotfl:)DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
