My morning is not going to plan... Aimee has another water infection which I'm a bit gutted about... It means a refferal to the paediatrician... And a week of forcing yacky medicine down her neck 4 times a day... My plan was to go back to bed after her lift to school arrived but because the Dr receptionist didn't know if I needed to take a sample down I had to keep her back just in case... So got to walk her in myself now... And trek to the Dr for the yacky medicine... Oh well, at least it means I can put in for a repeat prescription... Going to write 'not peptac' all over it and see if I get gaviscon this time lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Morning ladies,

Nothing much to add. Having fun with boilers, heating and bathrooms!!! I'm going out for tea with Mum tonight and we're going to pop into Asda to see if they have anything of interest. I might make a detour to the huge one at Eastlands.

Welcome to all the newbies. Lauren - you are due the same date as me :j
  • Morning all!

    Welcome and congrats newbies!

Not alot to report really, just wanted to catch up and say hello. Oh got my pram yesterday so have been playing with that :D Josh pinched the box though and made a spaceship out of it, so now I have the pram all set up and no box to pack it away in! You wouldnt think he had a fortune spent on him at christmas!

Went to asda and got the Johnsons box and some Johnsons baby wipes a big box of 6 for £5 and had that voucher out of the bounty pack so they only cost £10! I was happy.

My beautiful clare de lune bassinet got delivered yesterday too, but no rocking stand! Instead of just sending me a new stand out I have to return the whole lot and have a brand new one delivered! Argh! Why?

And also Dixons... Ordered a new tv last week, heard nothing from them about a delivery date, then get home on Monday and see a dixons delivery truck in the street Me and OH have a laugh saying oh wish that was our tv coming....Yesterday morning I noticed a tiny 1 inch folded scrap of paper stuck in the letterbox - turns out it was out tv! OH rings the depot to arrange a re-delivery and they cancelled the order as there was nobody to receive it! So mad as they didnt even let us know they were going to try! Then it turns out the item is now out of stock! Whoops! So have a very unhappy OH as he wants his brand new 50 Inch Yesterday hehe. Managed to get a new one sorted though, so should have it next week!

    Lots of hugs to all!

Very suprised at OH, we were chatting yesterday, and he said that perhaps it would be a good idea to buy things! He's really getting into this pregnancy thing, I'm shocked! Have to admit, was tempted to buy a Johnsons Box - my Mum has got one and its lovely, but I still can't bring myself to do it. Shall stick to my plan and wait for 34 weeks!

  • Morning all :D

You all sound full of cheer ;):D

At the Asda in Stoke the Johnsons boxes were still £20  and after being informed at parentcraft last night that Johnsons products are the worst for causing reactions and allergies in the first 6 months I think I will steer clear. I still want a box...just not that one! Another one to add to the baby-list (like a wedding list but full of non-essentials for the baby) which is doing the rounds with my family and hubbys family at the moment.

Feelie - no harm in 'deciding' now, and waiting til later to buy. I have been buying steadily since about 32 weeks or so - I wouldn't have liked to have had all the stuff knocking around for much longer than that!

Sami - liking the new Avvy...but it is a little more difficult to spot you!

Went to MW this morning. Wee and BP fine, measuring fine, movements & heartbeat fine and generally no problems. Bubbas head is not engaged but she says he is there and ready to pop his head in any time now!! Not looking forward to that really - will it make my SPD worse (could barely walk when I got out of bed this morning).

And as I suspected, nothing that can be done about the hiccups - she says he is practicing his breathing!!
