AF - A Mars bar Slice?!!! Do Tell!!
okay, let me try and remember .... no exact measurements though
you need:
mars bars 3 - 6 maybe (although i have made it with asda/tescos own)
golden syrup
butter (just a spoonful)
rice krispies (or rice bubbles as us aussies call them)
chocolate (again, can use supermarket own)
method
melt the mars bars on the cooker in a bowl over a pot of water
when melted, remove and add butter, stir through
add golden syrup (nice slurp of it) to the mars bar mixture (makes it more sticky)
once all that is stired through, add rice crispies and stir.
you still want the mixture moist (not too dry)
grease or line a shallow baking tray and spread the mixture.
melt choclate (as much as you like) and once melted, cover the rice krispie mixture making it as thick a chocolate coating as you would like
put in the fridge until set.
hope that's clear. i will actually search for a recipe to make it clearer.
you can add what you like too, maybe the marshmellows or have white choc on top

Morning ladies, feeling a little bit more human today - at least the gunk coming out of my nose has some colour IYSWIM...I always think that once that happens then you are on the mend. Still feel really dry and bunged up though. (sorry!! far TMI!!)
Mamas and Papas - I would say don't ever buy from their normal shop - they have discount places all over who sell off extra stock and there are hundreds of smaller retailers who are able to sell M&P stuff who seem to constantly reduce it. You can even get their newest range at a discount in the baby centre near to where I work.
Had the physio this morning - she has given me a bigger belt and left me to it bascially! She says to call her anytime and she will keep my file in her drawer until 6 weeks after I am due.
She suggested sleeping leaning slightly forward so I am not straight on my hip - she clearly hasn't met my baby :rotfl: there is no way in the world that he would stand for that - he would spend all night kicking the bed as hard as he could!! She also suggested I wear the belt a little higher to give me some bump support - true to form Bubba waited until I walked out of the clinic before he started poking and prodding it...he is now in full-on pinching and pushing mode! He is the same with everything new!!
Hope everyone is well and your bumps are behaving better than mine!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Bump still not dropped any and baby's head is still free (a MW friend checked for me yesterday although my main apt isn't until Friday). Although yesterday afternoon/eve I did have a little bit of uncomfortableness which I've decided to take as a good sign - anything that helps me get through this last wee while. Due on Saturdayr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Not having a good day... The dry heaves are back... The house is a dog hole and the in laws are coming tomorrow... Hubby didn't empty the dishwasher... Which is only a little things... But it's one of 2 jobs he has... The other is putting the washing away... Which I seem to do an awful lot of... It's starting to get on my nerves a bit but whenever its mentioned all I get is 'I go to work' which he thinks absolves him from any other household dutyA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
