Angela - I think mine is a girl too, hubby says its just wishful thinking for all the extra shopping.
I have thought tho even if its a boy I might need to buy some clothes coz of the winter/summer baby difference! all Chris's newborn clothes were toasty warm for his Jan arrival.

AF what was the pram you looked at last night? what did u think?

It really is going fast isn't it? When I think back to before I fell pregnant, and we were hoping that it would happen quick and I had been temping for 2 months... it all seems like a lifetime ago, but also, just like yesterday!!!

angel, i remember noticing when you changed your sig... that long time / short time ago thing again!!! geez! we're going to be mummies! :D

I had a bit of a 'realisation day' yesterday... Mr P was lovely and supportive as usual. THink it's starting to sink in a bit now. :o

getting to the 12 weeks was the longest wait for me. everything week since then has completely flown by, and now i am at 32 weeks and can see the end in sight.

yep, some poor bubs is going to have me as his mum :D

Sami - the one we looked at last night was basically like the first one i looked at at mamas and papas, which i like.

it is like the Ultima 8 in 1 package, although the person selling it did not have the stand that the carry cot clips onto to make it a 'moses basket', but it does come with the base for the car seat.

she is also adding another mama and papas pushchair as well as her boy is now just in an umbrella fold stroller.

she is selling it all for £300 (she paid £800 - has receipt)

currently the set is going for £575 in M&P.

the silvercross one i wanted has now gone up AGAIN on kiddicare and is £399 for the car seat and the linear freestyle.
  • I guess at 15+3 I'm around 3 months? I never know what to tell people! hahaha oh, I'm 15 weeks... they look at me like I'm deranged! :O

how do you guys work out your months?

well it's technically 10 months that you are pregnant for isn't it as it's 40 weeks.

i mainly refer to the weeks to be honest, becuase if i say i am 8 months like i am, people think i am due next month, when it is not until March.

not sure that at all helps :D

hahahahahha! I know what you mean!
40 weeks = 10 months if each month is 4 weeks...
which would make my 4 months on Sunday - but then I would be due June and I'm not!

ooo they do make it tough for our pregnancy brains don't they? :rotfl:
