I'm actually really glad I didn't go back to my old place purely because I hate coming back to work when someone else has been doin MY job and not doing it MY way :rotfl:

Ps MFD - I bought the carseat  :shhh: don't tell hubby :D I'm not sure I'll bother with the base unless MIL wants to buy it coz the Isofix one is around £90

That's what I'm scared of! I have to go back to the textbook way of doing everything, not MY way, so that the rest of them don't realise how I've been doing my job for the last three years and I'm worried that they will prefer the temp to me. I said that to them and the response was "Legally, we're not allowed to prefer the temp" - oh boy, that fills me with reassurance!

When I had that chat the other day, I was told that if I want to jobshare, I will get first dibs on what work pattern we do as it's MY job.. and there was me thinking they couldn't wait to get rid of me!

I have a slightly nicotine stained 2nd hand fridge/freezer and a new white freezer but you can't see them! the fridge bit is covered in pictures and photos relating to Chris and the freezer bits (that are lower down) are covered in bob the builder magnets do you need to get silver replacements?

If you met my DH you'd understand :) not having maching appliances is just not a thought that would ever occur to him... and suggesting it would probably result in a serious computing malfunction in his brain ;) But thank you and a huge hug for thinking of me!!!

Personally if it works it works! But his highness doesn't work like that :)

Ah well as Elle said better now than when Baby is here... Which was my argument for the fridge/freezer... It's still cooling, I'm not convinced about how well! But it is... and it's definitely frosting up big time which means it WILL go in the near future so I'd rather replace it now than in 5 months time when I am still with an infant screaming and not having anywhere to keep things cool or frozen...

The dishwasher and fridgefreezer need replacing - end off... however the house claim we might be able to get round... we resealed the WHOLE shower cubicle (including bits that probably shouldn't have been... ) and it hasn't leaked today (I had a super short shower and hubby had a quick shower too) so maybe we can get that off the list (and off our claim history with any luck) and just sort the ceiling ourselves...

DHs laptop he has called Dell who are sending a restore disk and if that fixes the software issues then he'll buy a battery off Ebay - roughly £30-£40.

So... my only real bits right now are the dishwasher and fridgefreezer... AND...
I still have £1000 bonus to come this month or next and then DH reminded me he SHOULD (well we haven't heard differently yet) have a £7k bonus in May - that's before tax so I'm calculating it as £3500 for my purposes... sooooooo we should be ok... I'll keep telling myself that ;)

Well done shopaholic! Big welcome to Cole, can't wait to see pictures when you are up to sharing. Hope you are recovering nicely now you are home.

I'm exhausted! It has taken me all day, but I've put the shopping away! Was about 15 bags, and I've had to have a lie down in between each 1/2 bag. I don't know how you ladies work while pregnant, I really don't. I'm about ready to fall asleep, can barely sit up, and thats after doing something that normally would take no more than 30 minutes!

Do I really need to wear nighties when I'm in hospital, or can I wear pajamas? Obviously nightie is essential for 'real' labour, but can't I wear jammies before, and immediately after?
    I wore jarmies after......

Work is a very loose term for what i do.. more sit on my butt, faffing about with bits of paper and tapping away on a keyboard in between swinging round on my chair and making tea :D
