I hope so, cos I'm getting them! It's like the crampy, "something's going on in there" feeling I had at about 6-7 weeks but not quite so strong. I figured it was the "moving up" thing and everything was normal. I've got enough sickness and tiredness not to worry about it being anything else
Oh good! It doesn;t feel wrong, but it's not what I was expecting really. I never realised being PG would be so painful and tiring! It's really hard work!

i think we all get aches and pains with all the moving and stretching and sometimes it really hurts that much it would bring tears to your eyes:O hope everyone is doing well, am taking it easy and trying to stay calm(not easy im telling you) xxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
AM - I agree on dogs. I would have one in the house. THey are slobbbery and dirty. But cats are very clean (especially my OCD one!) and she's my fur baby. I couldn;t chuck her out.
Icklebeans - I agree on the germs thing. And Kizzy only really sleeps with us in winter when it's cold, in the summer she goes on the ottoman downstairs so I don;t think it's going to be much of an issue anyway.
And as she is very old she may not actually make it till Bubba is born:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Got back late last night from Pisa. Had a super duper time.
Just scanned pages briefly to try to catch up, so i've probably missed loads.
Regarding insensitive OH's, mine got on my wick yesterday when we arrived at the airport. I had been to the loo twice before we left and then again on the plane, but needed to go again on arrival. This was obviously one time too many as hubby made some comment about me thinking that I am the first pregnant women in the world with all the fuss I make about needing the loo every 5 minutes. For this he got the silent treatment, until I got home from work tonight and 'let' him give me a hug!!
Regarding weddings, well thats a story and a half. Me and OH met in our first week at Uni and were inseperable. We married young (i.e me aged 20) and within a year of meeting. We were naughty and eloped to Ireland and told absolutely no-one. At the time it seemed like a good idea as my hubby is a different race and religion from me (dont know how to put that so its p.c) and at the time it felt like my parents and everyone would never get used to it. I got married in a horrible cream dress with pink flowers on it. The register office was in the grounds of a hospital and the outside pics have the smoke furness from the crematorium in the backgrounds. It was pouring with rain and freezing in the beginning of Feb. We managed to rope in some randomn acquitances of hubby's who lived in Ireland as witnesses, but there was a road accident on the road just outside the hospital so they were a couple of hours late. We had arranged a reception (for us, them and their families) in a restaurant but when we got there they had a power cut and we had to go somewhere else. Anyways we are still together and celebrate our 7th anniversary in a couple of weeks.
However, having been together so long, my mum/dad etc were on at me to know when we were getting married and we wanted to start a family as a 'married' couple. So we announced a year ago we were getting married and did the big white wedding thing in August last year. The hard part was finding a 'registrar' who would make it look real but so it wouldnt be a legal ceremony. I eventually found someone who could do this and just miss out the legal parts. So yes my marriage in August was a sham and no-one is any the wiser. I had always wanted to tell my parents I had already got married but for numerous reasons I never could. Then it got to a point when I felt it would hurt them more if I told them. So there we are. Total cost of first wedding about £200. Total cost of second wedding (mainly because of my guilt) about £10,000.00.
Fear of BF. I really really want to, but am scared that it will be very uncomfortable. My breasts are 34F and thats pre-pregnancy. I fear they will be huge and might suffocate the poor little mite. I think I will play it by ear and decide when the time comes.
Concerns about 2 bed flats. I live in one and it will just have to do. Not everything is ever going to be just right but beanie wont care as long as we love him/her, feed him/her and change his/her nappy as and when. Well thats my line and i'm just going to stick to it!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -

No way is my cat being barred from the bedroom. Not ever. She is clean and small and has always been able to go wherever she wants in the house (except on tables and worksurfaces, that IS yuk). I'm sure she will get jealous, she did when OH and I got together, but now she goes to him more than she does to me! I expect her to turn to him whent he baby comes to be honest, she's not so fussed on me at the moment anyway. Probably can smell the PG hormones. She definitely knew when I was miscarrying last time and refused to come near me at all.
Skinty.....you really need to be careful with cats......its not whether she's clean or not but i think they can suffocate babies by lying on their faces if they feel put out. You are advised not to allow them to sleep in babies room/ or yours when your baby is sleeping with you.DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
Mooki - I don;t think you could suffocate your baby! I'm pretty sure you;d be OK on that score.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I believe that pets are great for kids, to help build up resistance to germs etc....
We have a dog and two cats, however, none of them are allowed upstairs, ever!! I think it is a safety issue, more than anything else....cats tend to like hiding on the stairs and are easy to trip over...dogs might knock someone down the stairs.
This has happened to us when our naughty (ex) dog came upstairs he knocked Jaden down from top to bottom, he was only 4yrs old at the time I froze and screamed, not very helpful but nothing else i could do but watch my lovely little boy go nearly head first through a glass panelled door at the bottom!!!!!! Thankfully he didn't and as kids are usually made of rubber he bounced and was barely hurt!
My friends cat made itself a bit to comfy in the baby moses basket once, and they woke up to find the cat lying almost on top of the babies head, the cat was banished from the bedroom from that point onwards.....although the baby would have probably woke and startled the cat had caused it any distress!!! but you never know.

We don't have any pets but OH is determined to expose our child to plenty of germs by taking him or her on camping/foreging/hunting trips!
We'd love to have a dog but we have an ongoing battle over the size of it - I say Yorkshire Terrier, he says German Shepherd! - plus we live in town and we both grew up in villages and think that's the best place for a dog for long walks.
We had a King Charles Spaniel when I was little (he was Mum's before she even met Dad) and I used to curl up and sleep with it in it's basket!0
