am i confusing myself is it 1/5 to 5/5(fully engaged) or the other way around??? it never rains but it pours. just off phone to my sister and she has been joking ill have baby on the 20th jan as charlie is the 19th and lewis 21st now thats all i would need:D
Nooooooooooooo you aren't allowed to have yours before I have mine!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sorry to hear that you aren't doing too well. Right now I think you have to bow to the MW and try and look after yourself and bump. I think that it might also be a good idea to say to your OH that with the bp issues and pg hormones etc you aren't in the best place to discuss this all right now, could you both concentrate on the next five weeks (or less) first? Although I've no experience and may be talking rubbish - just my gut feeling that's all - so feel free to tell me to shut up. xr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Ok Caz - I'll swap the stew for some pickled onion monster munch and a snickers (as long as you are not avoiding peanuts lol)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120

*snip*
Just a quick question for those expecting number 2 or more. My little one was 1 last week and we were looking at him spread out in the cot and there is less than 6 inches left in it space wise after he has laid the length. This sealed the deal for us and we are going to buy him a bed when little one comes in August and put the new baby in his cot. I have been looking at duvets (as he is waking a lot at the mo and is cold) does anyone know how many blankets a 4 tog equates to?? He currently has a sheet and 3 cellular blankets.well I do but not in real terms, Chris has a cotbed so plenty room and got him a cotbed duvet from Ikea he wears Pjs with a vest under at the mo with it being winter if that is of any help?
the duvet doesn't have a tog rating but says this; Length: 125 cm, Width: 110 cm
Filling weight: 300 g, Total weight: 575 g
Other thing is you need him to be in his bed for 3mths before bubs comes (well that what the "experts" say) apparently you shouldn't change anything like beds/potty training in the 3rd trimester or for 3 mths after baby arrives as he'll find it too upsetting esp if baby will be "stealing" his cot0 -
OMG I'm such a muppet!
At 3.40pm I suddenly realised I had my MW appointment TODAY and not tommorrow  Luckily i live a 5 min walk from the docs.
So had to rush out the door, then ended up waiting half hour anyway! just my bloody luck.
I forgot a sample AGAIN, but she was fine with it.
Got to go back in 3 weeks, baby is fine, very active and was kicking her when she tried to get his heartbeat! :rotfl:
Got glucose test again at 28 weeks.
I asked her about the early labour and she basically said that there is no way of telling, buit infections can bring on early labour (last pregnancy I caught 'a round of applause' off DS dad at 19 weeks which was treated successfully) so this time i'll probably be fine.
She didnt have the HIP grant forms but is waiting for them, there was a poster up in the surgery for it though.
She said I measure a bit bigger than 26 weeks but it's nothing to worry about, i knew i would though as i feel the size of a house, oh and i've put on about 4lb.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Oh how nice of him, giving you a "round of applause" (loving that euphemism!)
