I wondered if it was worth going to A&E this pm but my dh can't get away from work and he works 30 miles away and i have my ds at home and no one can look after him. What ever the result will not change between now and 9 tomorrow so i might as well wait unless i start getting pain. Are you having a normal scan or another internal? how many weeks are you? I am 6. Will be thinking of you 2moz.
id assume that i will get an external scan, then if nothing shows up, an internal. thats what happened last time, the doc managed to see the sac from external scan, but had to go internal for the detail
im not actually sure how many weeks i am, by dates i would be 8+1, but my last scan put me back at least a week, so somewhere between 6-7 weeks.
i am still bleeding, 12 days and counting, spending a fortune on pads (sorry) and me and OH are somewhat, ahem, frustrated LOL0 -
Wow SM - you are really organised and getting loads done! We have tons to do before the baby comes, but DH's work schedule is horrendous and much of it is stuff I can't do by myself (painting ceilings for example).MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

They changed the rules to one month in 2001 but the private fertility clinics still use 3 cycles, i guess they want to be extra sure since the women are going through so much just to get PG. Idk, personally i wouldn't take any risks, esp with the huge % of first time pregnancys ending in m/c.
On the same NHS page you took that from also states...
"The reason rubella is included in the childhood immunisation programme is to prevent children passing rubella virus to their pregnant mothers or mothers pregnant friends. It is also important to immunise women of childbearing age....".
Like i said, just something worth doing if you're 'properly' TTC
If there is something wrong with bubs there is nothing i can/would do now but I think it'll be in the back of my mind now until he/she is here and proved to be healthy0 -

Last night we were all at my mums for tea, and DD was looking at baby kicking with her top up.My little nephew aged 21 months walked in the room saw her tummy and ran over and stuck his finger in her belly button and laughed his head off.Next thing little niece aged 2.5 came in and ran over saying stop poking baby Layla, we were all in tears laughing, bless em :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
It's gonna be chaos with 3 under 3 when Layla arrives:eek: :eek:0 -
Oops i seem to miss so much on this post
Sorry you're still having probs with bleeding girls. I've been there and know how scary it is. I believe about 30% of women bleed during early PG and things are often fine. Our beans sure like to worry us eh! I'd just add though, that at 6 weeks you shouldn't pass any clots the size of a golf ball no matter what happens  so if the worry is just too much i'd go to A&E or the EPU. They should be able to confirm if your cervix is shut and if the heart beat is ok. (((hugs))) to you both

work is MANIC and i really can't see an end insight. causing me to dred going off on maternity leave. as it is i am working up to 2 weeks before EDD but could do with working another week.
AF - it's not your problem - you will be on mat leave by then. Anything you don't have time to do you will have to hand over. Simple as thatMind you, my colleagues, boss and bosses boss suddenly realised about a week before I went that I was going, and wouldn't be able to do things for them anymore, so maybe it's normal. I had a big pile of things I said I would do "if I have time", some of which handed some back/onwards. Seeing as I'd told them at 14 weeks I was a bit annoyed that it came as such a shock to everyone

It's odd although i am bleeding quite a bit it isn't really coming out until i go to the loo. I have a pad on but it only has a tiny bit of blood on it and the clots are about 2cm. I just don't feel pg any more. I think you just know don't you.
I wasn't going to tell any family as my mum is ill one sil has just had a baby and has been rushed back into hospital with an infection as she had a 3rd degree tear and the other one is 4 months pg and having problems also so i didn't want to add to the worry but my mum noticed i kept going to the loo and asked me if i was ok i ended up telling her and while it was a relief it is also a burden as she said she is going to ring me straight after scan tomorrow. She is now worried and i may be too upset to talk to her tomorrow. This is my signature!0 -
Sami i really wouldn't worry, like i say i think it's only us lot with conception issues that get told that to save us from worrying obsessively! If the NHS have been saying 1 month for so long it must be fine0
