Has anyone found a good babyname website we can play with?

    My personal fave:

    http://www.nymbler.com/

You can put in 'inspirational' names that you like and it gives you other ones that you might also like.

And it does boys and girls together or you can set it to do boys or girls.

R-mac - sorry you are having a down moment. i understand what you are saying about wanting to meet bubs now and not wanting to be late (i dont want to met bubs now, still a bit early for me, but i really dont want to be late). you have obviously looked after yourself and in turn bubs in the best way possible for the MW to say what she said that that is something to be incredibly proud of. you baby is having the best possible start you can give them. just think, bubs will come and see you when s/he is ready

Feely - i thought i was starting to panic about the hosptial part when i asked the question about the bags, but i know now it's not fear of the labour (i know it is going to be painful and i can't change that), but it's more the fear of not being prepared. hubby isn't the best organiser so things are left to me and i want to have everything right and ready.

i didn't tell you ladies about a dream i had the other night. i dreamt that i had given birth. the strange thing is i do not remember the dream being 'pictures' more 'feeling' if that makes sense????? i just felt this sensation of needing to open and was breathing deeply and bubs just arrived. IF ONLY!!!!!

I like the baby centre name thing coz you can search by meanings, origin etc
    http://www.babycentre.co.uk/babyname/
and then make sure they're not too common for you here:
    http://www.statistics.gov.uk/specials/babiesnames_boys.asp
    http://www.statistics.gov.uk/specials/babiesnames_girls.asp

    Our boys name is
    Edgar
Meaning: From the Old English ead meaning "wealth, fortune, riches" and gar, meaning "spear".
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

That's a really positive dream - I'm sure it'll be like that in real life;)

you reminded me of hubby's dream a few nights ago. While I was panicing about my waters breaking in teh middle of the night he was dreaming that he was pg and had a contraction, didn't like it and so gave baby back to me :rotfl: :rotfl:

hehe yeah that was me MFD!! just as well you asked cause im planning on getting things done this weekend:D

usually after birth i got showered and changed but when i was feeding i bled heavily and even if i moved the wrong way i was soaked through, everyone however is different but i would rather have too many than not enough:D

for labour our hosp isnt too keen on eating in the labour ward just in case something goes wrong but they let you drink lots! but as im at home i might get a few bits and bobs in.

AM where in Scotland are you going???
Edinburgh, where OH is from, well he was born in England (same hospital as me actually) then moved up there and grew up there, his Mums side are all from Edinburgh originally.
