i feel for all those having to go back to work so early as due to lack of sleep and just everything getting into a routine is hard enough without the worry of work. it is ridiculous that there is no extra help for you to take a bit longer off and relax! i am a SAHM as childcare is expensive and up until a few months ago OH had a good paid job. we are struggling at the moment as he has no work and is doing training to try and start up himself but that doesnt help us much at the moment.

well i think baby is doing enough movements for everyone here as i honestly do not get any time that she stays still its crazy. she also doesnt move much apart from turning slightly to go back to back but has been pretty much head down with back to my left hand side and feet under my ribs!

feelie: I don't think I ever felt him change position but I do remember him being head up, head down and transverse at various MW apps have you looked in your notes/always asked which way round it is?

They don't attempt to feel where he is. Not once had a hand on my belly! I imagine thats because it'd be quite difficult to feel him under the fat :D

  • Feelie - you are an absolute star!! I am 29 weeks tomorrow and guess what the info in your link says:

    At 29 weeks

Your baby will begin to make smaller, more definite movements, as it becomes more cramped inside your uterus

    :T :T

As I say, I knew he was moving, he just felt different :o I am going for my 4D scan tomorrow night - I am going to see what my little boy looks like :D :j :j :D

Jvic - sorry, I should be more sensitive :o

Oooh, hope your scan is good MFD! I can't wait for mine, just got to persuade OH that I need one. I'm just worried, baby isn't very co-operative, and might not want to come out. I'll phone them and ask. Make sure your pictures are posted as soon as you get home!

Just had a peek to see if it said when they can feel where they are but it doesn't say :( things it does say that peeps have asked about before...
its not usually important which way round your baby is until after 36 wks.
After 32 wks you should be able to recognise a pattern in movements, if it moves less than usual contact you MW or GP

  • Feelie - I don't think they start touching your bump til 24 weeks (I have only had 2 'feelings' so far). Last week the MW said she thought he was head down...but I am pretty convinced my placenta is up front too (probably contributing to how big I look) and she asked me if I felt like he was breach (how the hell would I bl00dy know!!)

The 4d scan is mine and hubbys christmas present to each other :D
Is it really bad to say I am a little bit scared that he will be an ugly baby? :o

Ooo - lucky you caz - an indian!!
