  • Hi everyone, still lurking ;) !

Just popped in to see how everyone is, congrats on a blue one shellsuit! :j

SeptemberBaby - do you suppose if we all do a BIG group hug and squeeze really hard, we can get Jamie to "pop out"?! LOL! Will keep an eye out for news when he finally decides to make an appearance, good luck hun, I'm sure like Poppy he'll be worth the wait! Be prepared though, I'm amazed how different it is having a boy compared to a girl first time around (in particular, watch out for sudden wee moments, I thought for awhile Matthew was like a puppy, marking his territory as he was weeing on me so often :rotfl: )

Wishing all the mums and bumps a very merry christmas and a healthy, happy and peaceful new year (make the most of it until the little ones arrive :D ) xx
Proud mum to Matthew born 23/11/08 7lb 13oz

I'm starting to think if I have a girl it'll be a walk in the park :j seeing as I'm used to the dangers of changing a boys nappy, it would be weird to not have to make sure that winky is pointing downwards before fastening a nappy tho

  • Everyone - please say hello to the mummy of the most handsome and smiley baby boy in the history of baby boys :A

Had my 4d re-scan today and bubba was simply gorgeous. He behaved very well, the sonographer (who owns the company and has been scanning since 1998) said she had never seen a smiler baby so he is either very happy or very windy!

He also stuck his tongue out at us on several occasions - he had us all in stitches (and me and hubby in tears).

What a fantastic experience. And I needn't have worried about him being ugly - he is absolutely beautiful.

Love and gorgeous baby vibes to everyone.

MFD: Hello mummy of the 2nd most handsome baby boy ;) (My chris is No. 1 :D)
Glad that he is a looker and a cheeky monkey :p

SB: I just had a random thought, have you packed your glasses/spare contacts in your hosp bag?
I took mine off at home so I could bury my head in a pillow whist shouting in contractions and then forgot them so Chris was quite blurry for the first few hours :rotfl:

My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey
  • I'm thinking I might pop contacts in for the labour so I don't have to worry about glasses lol...

I just ate a pile of stollen... It's so gorgeous!

Oh, and put Aimee to bed and came downstairs to find hubby in a santa hat and red velvet boxers... He's such a romantic :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Shell - I was told I had placenta previa at my 20 week scan also but wont be scanned again until 36 weeks. They just said that it makes no difference to the pregnancy just the delivery so there is no point checking until then until I get any bleeding. We too are on a no nooky ban and it has been 5 weeks now!!

Krystal, your bloke is so saucy! ;)
My hubby thinks flashing his bits at me or squeezing my boob is the best way to get things going  (you'd have thought after nearly 7yrs he'd have learnt it isn't)

    Random Question Alert
Just in case any of you can help. My dad has a pair of hideous tie dye "lounge pants" he loves them and I want to get him another pair (apparently they've been causing quite a stir in the hospital lol) He got them at a country fair and I can't find them online anywhere, has anyone ever seen them in an online shop?
Any help you have is mucho appreciated :)
