tada i have finished!!! its taken long enough but house is spotless and food and drink all organised, washing and ironing done and presents just about all wrapped !!

however i am in lots of pain and can harly walk lol! just had a big mug of hot choc with squirty cream and belgian flaked truffles. think its going to be two paracetamol hot water bottle and heading for bed as i have an early rise to pick up a nintendo DS??

Early start for me 2mo, I need to get some photos processed for my photo baubles and I'm prob gonna visit my dad at 2 as it looks like he's gonna be in for at least a few more days I can't take Chris to cheer him up either as we know that there is some kind of infection on the ward (because the blooming place is soo unclean :mad: )
so I'm not risking Christopher touching everything, I'll be super careful to not touch anything and decontaminate afterwards.
I'm gutted that he won't be home, he's been ill in total for 3 weeks and has lost a stone :eek: he's a beenpole anyway so he's probably down to a 28" waist now

I've had enough.. I don't want to play any more!

After this morning's spontaneous incident, I got into work 25 mins late to be greeted by my oh-so-sympathic boss and the words "f*ing hell, how are you going to cope with pregnancy when you can't even cope with being sick once?!" - if I'd have had the energy, I'd have flattened her. Obviously no-ones pregnancy could be as bad as hers was and therefore I'm just weak. Grrrr... My day didn't get much better - spent most of it with gritted teeth.

Went to Tesco at lunchtime, then home after work for a quick nap. Went out for tea at the pub with friends, then to Asda and Tesco to pick up the last few bits and go on a hunt for pigs in blankets, black pudding and the Take That CD, aka Dad's shopping list! Got everything, then went back to my parents with it. Found out a fox has got into the farm where we were getting our free-range chicken from for xmas dinner and eaten all the big chickens!! So now we have two small ones and might need to nip round to my nan's empty flat to use her oven on the big day!!

Finally headed home, but text OH before I left to start running me a bath. He made a wise choice with the Radox Muscle Soak! Ended up eating cereal bars and drinking squash whilst in the bath to stop me feeling/being sick!

Now I just want to go to bed but have a pile of presents and wrapping paper staring at me... *sigh*

Elle what a biatch she is! my manager was really laid back where i worked and let me come in late nearly every day for a month or so as long as I made up the time later. I was fine once I'd been sick but it always hit just as I needed to leave home :rolleyes:

morning ladies,

short day for me at work today as we have our christmas lunch.

heading to the direction of our main office and many there haven't seen me since last christmas. i swear if anyone that i am not close to tries to touch my bump i wont be best pleased. problem is i am not very good for standing up for myself so i know if they try to touch it they will and then i will sit fuming!!!!!!

Hi all,

I fell asleep on the sofa after posting and woke up at quarter to three. OH put me in bed, sat hugging me for a while then went back to his wrapping. I don't know what time he came to bed, but he's done all of the joint presents and ones for my friends, bless him! (only his left for me to do tonight now).

I've just had a bowl of Frosties in the hope that helps the sickness today. Really must remember to buy some bread for toast over the next few days..

Right, time for me to get ready for work! Hoping to leave at 3pm today..

I hope everyone who's still at work has an easy day, and the rest of you get a chill out day too (anyone got the supermarket battle left to do?) xx

well i am up been up since 5am and im not impressed??? have tried going back to sleep and now im just getting annoyed with myself, didnt get to bed until 1ish. so am gonna hit the shops get what i need, grab some lunch and head for bed. will leave OH a note begging him to get his parents to take kids for a few hours so that i will get a sleep:D

Oh Elle - I hope you have a better day today!

We went to the supermarket last night at about 10 last night, and got the last few fresh bits. I'm sure we've still forgotten something, but we have loo roll, and enough food to feed a small army, so no-one will go hungry!

Still got bits of houseworkd to do, but I'm off to see MW again this morning, and I need to go back to bed after that, as I'm nackered - I kept waking myself up by trying to roll over in bed, and lots of bad dreams. Stupid hormones. Never mind, will see what I get done, and if anyone objects to any remaining mess tomorrow they can tidy it up for me

I think I am over the morning sickness *fingers crossed* although I know this sounds strange but I kind of miss it at the same time. Bubs not moved yet (18+5) so I just feel big, rather than pregnant.

Also OH has decided to bestow on me a heavy cold with cough and sore throat! Yay what a lovely pre christmas present! Although on the plus side he has decided to buy a DVD recorder hard drive thingymabob so I can record all my programmes that I have been missing due to needing sleep earlier than usual. woohoo!

Hope everyone else is well ( I hate being ill over xmas) 1 sleep to go before I get to open pressies!! YAY:D
