wow...my nan is 88 on christmas day. i got her a 'nan' birthday card, but have seen in the card shops the ones that say about your 'december' birthday.

of course you will find your granddad a lovely card.

I suppose its better than what mum did last year, she told us Grandma was turning 65 but she was actually 64 :doh:

ive not quite got everything either we got bad news today that money we were meant to have from a job jone a few weeks ago is not being paid until 9th jan, we had been told it would be paid last mon and up until today the cheque was in the post:( so am not impressed and panicing now! also worring that i dont have much for kids????

right now i could eat for scotland i eat my dinner and have lots to drink or i would just feel hungry and keep eating lol!

i'm sure something similar happened with my Pa. we had organised his 70th, had a party etc, and then for some reason my nan had to get his birth certificate out and he was 70 the year before.

Argh, I am more than annoyed!!!!!!!! We ordered pizza at 8:15... At 9:30 I rang and they told me it had left the shop and would be with me at any minute... At 10:10 I rang them up, told them they were taking the mickey and cancelled the order... Just had scrambled egg instead, I was just so hungry! Got a splitting headache now... and cross with hubby cos if he'd just gone to the chippy like he promised he would I could of eaten hours ago....

Sami you're scaring me again... Ours is a mid terrace, 3 bed (and although only 4 years old feel pokey sometimes!) and ickle...
*sigh* I miss the 6 bed HUGE house we had when NATO was paying our rent *sigh* - had my own annex complete with livingroom, bedroom, bathroom, toilet and kitchen (well there wasn't actually a kitchen fitted...) and private entrance... not bad when you're 15 and you have started dating Especially if your bedroom window is pointed away from the house and driveway and can't be overlooked from the main house *tries really had to look innocent*

Caz that sucks! How come they haven't paid on time? I'd be soooo tempted to go round there and demand the cheque there and then!
