Both Leanne and Carla's bumps are pretty evident, aren't they? I hadn't noticed them before, but once someone here mentioned it, I had to watch for it.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

I have a pointed jaw and had to wear braces for 4 years but it was always my Nan who took me to the dentist, otherwise I might still have them now... Oh and I didn't get glasses until I was 23 but hadn't been able to see more than a foot in front of me for years lol.
I have Aimee registered, she's ever so good for the dentist (because she loves her stickers!) but I fear she's going to have the same problems as me because it's genetic not thumb sucking like my dentist used to ask me every time I went! We won't know until her adult teeth grow though sadly...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystal Chris's bottom front teeth will require some treatment the middle 2 are fine but the ones either side are half tucked behind the middle one IYKWIM I thought mine were like that because I had a small mouth but maybe they came through like that0

They probably did... If they don't bother you then I wouldn't worry about it... My problem was pretty severe, my top teeth were so crooked I couldn't close my mouth over them! I had to have 2 adult teeth permanently removed to make space to move the front ones back.... On the plus side, I've grown an extra wisdom tooth on one side behind the original one and think there might be another coming behind on the other side... The new dentist was very excited when she discovered it!
DH promised me a chippy tea but its raining... Settled for pizza instead... seeing as he's payingA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I thinking of asking so have some teeth out while its free after bump, I really don't like the idea of teeth out I've only had it done and asked for a general so not sure what I'll do but I had "perfect" teeth after i had a brace but once my wisdoms appeared they've squished my front ones so they're wonky again
I've just snacked on pickled onions and now I'll be away for a min coz I'm having spaghetti sausages (Minus the toddler spilling them all over the place) and some bread to make a messy buttie!! yum0 -

Can I ask (and feel free to tell me where to go) do you have your children registered with a dentist? My mil (not the good one) has a fear of dentists and none of her children ever went, my BIL got a full set of caps when he was about 14 and DH are in a wicked state now. As soon as he gets his new holiday allowance in April we're getting them sorted... He's 28 now... He also has very little vision in one of his eyes because he had a squint that she never got sorted but that's the kind of woman she is... (really hope you don't think I'm implying you are... That doesn't read very well does it?!)
hey no offence taken, yes kids all go and i make a big deal out of them going etc and as they have asthma its a bigger deal as they get a protective coating on their teeth as the inhalors strip the enamel off them. Lewis had to get a couple of teeth out a few months back due to the amount of steroids and medication he had been on and i managed at the hospital myself, was around 4/5 months pregnant and nearly passed out but as the staff all knew about my phobia they took control!
its really just me esp when i know i have to go and leave it until i cant handle the pain any more?? kids are at a dentist that only sees children so think thats why i can take them!:o they also dont know about phobia. What's for you won't go past you0 -
My family dentist was great, we all had family appointments, and we were allowed to watch our parents get thier teeth done. I think that helped me not be bothered by dentists. I'm going to take the baby with me when I have appointments, I think it is important for them to grow up used to it - to see it not as a big, scary deal.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
