Thats a toughy - maybe agree to give it 3 months and see how you are dealing with the odd sleeping patterns?
Well done on the 6 NSD's your double me! hoever i have a cunning plan! 3 of my friends have invited me for dinner the next 3 days so that will mean less on the shopping front this week, and no nights out this weekend either :-)
Someone told me the thunderball was better odds but i'm not sure if that is true?TOTAL: (1.9.2008) £[strike]20,971.00[/strike] (02.12.10)£11,006.07£9,262.93 Paid off (Since LBM)Debt Free Date [strike]2021[/strike] 2015Savings £100 Dec NSD 11/20, Sealed pot challenger 1043:xmassign:0 -
Yeah I remember the adverts (that was back when I had a TV) but thinking about it rationally, I have a better chance of winning some of the regular competitions that I enter from here for free than I do of winning the lotto, and I think I have won all of £10 in about the last year, so I make me £94 down on that. I have paid till the end of the month already but I think even if I win I will just scrap it now.
It wasn't a NSD today, I kind of already knew it wouldn't be so I don't feel disheartened by it. I think I may have one more spend day by Monday to top up bread etc, but I think I might beat you this month!
I am well on the catch up. Next week I should be able to find £200 as I have worked extra this week. It's all good!Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
Good points: NSD number 7!
The little extra has gone off the CC1
Bad points: Interest on the egg card has been added
Altogether the Good points still outnumber the bad ones so life is good! Still slipping further behind in the race again but I worked extra this week and from next friday I should be hitting the CC1 hard!Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
Good points: I get paid for a full weeks work (with extra) in 2 days!
I haven't got any further into debt
I get my pinsentry device for one of my banks on Thursday so I can pay the spare change off my CC1
Bad points: No more NSDs so far
Getting thrashed by DTDT
Good points still outnumbering the bad, and DTDT is only so far ahead because I had to take time off work which I wont be doing in the same way again if I can help it!Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
You're doing really well justruth - the main thing is you've not got more in debt. Pre LBM I bet you'd have been spending without thinking! I might be wrong but i'm guessing you're quite young (because of you're studying but I guess I could be totally wrong in that!!) so the very fact you're addressing your debt now means you'll be sorted for life. I didn't 'see the light' until I was 39!!! Take care xx0
