I am regretting not going. I know it would have been hard with uni and work, but I hardly get to see her as it is, and I missed our second trip out at Christmas because I got poorly and didn't want to make her and her sister poorly. It feels like ages since I last saw her and while she is very sensible and understanding for a 9 year old, I still dont like not being there enough. I cant help but get a bit down.

Still when I see her the weather will be better so I can take her horse riding! (I hope!)

She thinks it's funny that I'm going to be a doctor because I'm silly, but for her as much as anything I want to get all this done and cleared. This way in 9 years she has options. I want to ba able to help her do something important with her life, take a year out and travel round the world, start her own business, put a deposit down on a house for when she wants to move on. RIGHT while she is away I am going to get ahead!!!!!

Ps will update sig now, but dont get too comfortable, I'm working lots now and I wont be having time off in the near future to take her out!

I just checked my online banking, as the amount didn't match my diary and I have been repaid £100 from one of the people who have owed me a lot for over 6 months! I will admit to getting a bit harsh with her when I had toothache, but I was in pain and mad that she had good money coming in, brought her gf a drum kit then pleaded poverty to me! When I helped her out it was because she had just split up and I helped with rent arrears from split and ill health, brought her a new bed and brought her a fridge freezer so she could have the basic essentials till she got better. Then she got better and conveniently forgot to repay me while I then ended up living in this dump! Still £100 which has now been redirected to the CC2.

I did the math on the BT and if I repay the CC2 with the same vigor I used for the CC1 then I am actually better off not doing the BT due to the fee involved, however the interest charging overdraft can go on there until I clear CC2 then work back on CC1. Saves me that way (good old snowball calc lol).

Had one of the overpayments credited to the CC1 so now adjusting my sig to make me not that far behind DTDT!

  • Thats good news I had all that from a mate recently I let it go and go and then they were claiming it went to the wrong bank account and in the end I had to tell them that I felt let down that I couldn't afford the money i lent at the time really and I knew they knew that and they weren't being fair - basically guilt tripped them in to coughing up..... 5 months ago i would have felt guilt about doing that..

I have looked at my budget and again I have included fixed payments to CC2 for the next couple of months till I get my next loan installment. That amounts to an extra £100 which I am instead going to pay off now as I know that I will make more than minimum payments and this is the one I am focusing on.

That means again I will be paying less interest so I can clear the debt faster. It worked last time! Hope to shift this by end of March.

Hmm the banks aren't as enthusiastic as I am about clearing these balances and I currently have a fair amount of money in the void between it being paid out of one account and into the other.

I am going to wait for monday when all of the credits to CC1 should have cleared to see where I am with it all.

Well for all my talk of transfers, I couldn't directly transfer the OD to the CC1 anyway so BT'd the CC2 instead.

    Soon have the lot cleared!
