this morning i have received a cheque for £2850 from Mr S A Khan.
The cheque is real, it's just a normal halifax cheque. He just doesn't have the £2850 in the bank.
The scam is that he will tell me to bank the cheque and then send him a cheque for the difference. Then his cheque doesn't clear and I end up sending him £2848.
Lucky i'm not stupid.0 -
I was just checking how new people now have pitches since I joined three weeks ago on www.ibootsale.co.uk on their site map, its just over 250 and who can blame them when there are no fees to pay at all.
I’ve now given up on greedbay completely and have listings on ibootsale, Ebid, and Tazbar, with ibootsale coming out on top for sales.
I’ve managed to pick up some great bargains that can be resold for profit using the haggle facility. Most listings that I look at all seem reasonably priced, but there are some obvious rip off merchants loading the postage costs, but you get that on all sites.
So far everything has been running smoothly and I’ve not encountered any awkward buyers as yet or have been given any negative or neutral ratings. It’s been positive all the way.

its a nice easy little site, items are on there for 90 days, and with this weather at the moment, u have the pleasure of sitting in your armchair,
