then came back and said i have just spoken to tony one of the administrators who has said under no circimstances to refund or replace the console
what i would like to know is what to do next i have a used psp that cost me £125 there was no sign saying no refunds as we are in administration and i dont want a refund anyway just a replacement:o
The prob is, what happens if they have no stock?
on other matters...
I read in the paper that the british public are "enjoying" the recession! You get people who are "wondering who's next", which sounds morbid. I guess it won't be until a year or so if everything continues and unemployment rises that this might change. Today in Woollies when I was in about 4pm it was fairly busy - a couple of dozen people in with at least six queuing up at the tills. I know this time of year is usually their busy period, but it was fairly dead a month ago when I went past previously0 -
My local store has the signs up at the till "no refunds only exchanges" - its the first chance I've had to go as I worth Fri-Sun, and 75% of the stock has gone. You don't have the same rights now but you could go down and argue for a change.
Of course you have the same rights, if its damaged/faulty you are entitled to a refund, unless it was sold as faulty/damaged0 -
Am I the only one who read the 'Halloways' post as Sarcastic? I think he is taking the **** out of Peterborough, Woolies probably hasn't even closed!
Read it again...
Either I am right or 'Halloway' has not written their response very aptly, but I really do think he/she was just saying Peterborough was boring!0 -
I read it the same as you Leanne, tongue in cheek sarcasm.
We were in peterborough woolies on sunday and it was carp. No bargains at all to be had, just a few already over priced items with 10-20% off.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I also remember when that woolies used to be twice the size it is now, and had the big cafe upstairs. I think it still has a smaller cafe? But ever since they made it smaller it's always been really poor at displaying toys upstairs.0

Actually I have nothing against Peterborough. When I used to live in Cambridge I'd often go shopping there. The cathedral is also well worth a look.0
