Our local (Maidstone) TJ Hughes had these players in when I went in last week. They were £19.99.
TJ Hughes - now that is a jumble sale of a store that deserves to close down!

I think under the circumstances her comments can be excused.
  • anyone know if i can still use vouchers?????

  • I got a refund no problems on Thursday morning. However I did manage to get a manager on the til, and she was fine about it. That wasn't even a faulty product just a double purchase.

I, for one, will miss Woolies. Its the only decent toy shop in my town (well other than Argos which isn't the same for me as I like to view things before I buy). I go there as first preference when shopping for toys and kids clothes etc and have often found bargins.

Dont know what I'm going to do now

    Everything’s alright tonight

Yes maybe her comments can be excused under the current circumstances but still, If the company wanted support - Its prices needed to be fairer to match or beat those of its competitors!!
I personally would not shop somewhere that was selling goods, over the odds, just to keep it in business!
I do feel bad for those losing thier jobs and wish them all the best but would you pay £20 for an item that is selling for £15 in the next shop?? I dont consider myself a Vulture for shopping there more now with the closing down sale on, who wouldnt?

i still can't believe people are going mad for a 20% sale, lol, so many people were holding handfuls of toys in ours, i wanted to tell them to go to tescos for the 50% sale :o
Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok
