    as i say a "good ploy" to get people back into the stores and yes i shall miss woolies as they did have some good offers and would rather they be there, but you can only "cry wolf" so many times, even if they were to announce everything 50% off tomorrow for definate i would not bother going.

    i just cannot understand how the likes of some of the high street stores like hmv, clintons, plus others keep going i see the prices of hmv stuff and laugh as i know i can get it much cheaper online. even when i see customers going up to the tills with dvd's and games i think but i saw that £10 or more cheaper online. fair enough not everyone has access to the internet. if only woolies went to online sales only like play, amazon etc.

    so if theres ques of people then just before christmass woolworths will have made enough money to pay off the administartors problem solved

  • i got a few things in my store today which was heaving!! my main buy was a thomas fleece sleeping bag for £12. the rest was just some £1 toys and crisps.
