are you taking the mickey even with the 10% off it would cost you more than 400 pounds for instance ds lites are 109 pounds x 4 = 436 - 10% = 43 pounds so youre looking atr 397 so your telling me you got 3 xbox 360s and 2 ps3 for 3QUID

I originally when there for a long stand but after 3 hours of waiting I left with nothing. ;)
  • B*lls to it.... I've had a work xmas lunch including too many drinks and right now I can do no work....
I think I may take a stroll to Woolies to see what late-in-the-day non-bargains I can find and put them on my credit card!
  • I managed to get 4 DS Lites, 3 Xbox 360's, 2 PS3's and a partridge in a pear tree.........all for £400 :p

I found some ipod socks for £5, saving £15, and a ipod dock for £5 saving £25, so that's £40 saved.
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.
  • The REALLY disturbing thing (and I'm talking seriously here) is that I got minimal sleep last night thanks to my determination to get a sale bargain.
I must have had at least 5 nightmares which woke me up because either the queue was huge or because the person in front took the last item that I wanted!!!
    I HATE THE MEDIA!!!!!!!!!
  • the savings are only on the crap that doesnt sell, anything decent is only about 10% off

wouldn't surprise me if it was one big scam to get people in there to buy things

popped in our little woolies today, huge spaces on the shelves where the 50% off signs were. Most things were still cheaper to buy elsewhere, hardly a dozen people in the shop altogether but it was 1pm. Ours never sold much in the way of electrical items in the first place. If they do drop their prices any further they'll be nothing left to buy in mine anyway - I'm sure others already said this.
It's a shame ours is going, obviously the people losing their jobs but also because I wonder what it will be replaced with, most of our little town is filled to the brim with shops I can't even afford to go in. Woolies was always handy here.
Anyway I would imagine it's been helpful for anyone who needs to buy children's toys for christmas, I saw a lady on Friday in woolies, she had 3 children to buy for and money was tight. She said they'd all get a bit extra now.
